I came here after watching jack and joker. What the heck! I was not prepared by the intensity of the tension and chemistry between them?! I'm at ep 3 and I'm already having a mental breakdown multiple times. The perfume scene might have just kill*d me.
I dropped TharnType but My Stand in is a masterpiece. Why would you even compare them
Oh, no offense to people who love that show. I just can't get over how much of ass*h*le ming is (for me, Joe deserves better) so I didn't finish it, that's just me.
I came here after being moved and impressed by Time of Fever. I thought if it's the same production & staff who are involved in that beautiful drama, I should give this one a shot. Despite others' complaints about this drama, I enjoyed it a lot. It wouldn't be as good as Time of Fever but it wasn't that bad. I mean who wouldn't dig a pair up of cute cheerful person and a serious close off one? The idea of one person completely changing someone's perspective of life to being positive by just being in it is just so romantic. With that great foundation and it being delivered well in the drama, I hope you give this drama a chance as well!
I read somewhere that it's 8 episodes for each couple ? I assumed kinda like love in the air? Can someone share if the first 8 episodes are for forcebook?
The english test scene especially when Jack said I like you as hint for the word "confess" is basically an help-I-can't-breathe scene. Joke's hopeful & shocked "huh?" while staring intently at Jack is everything. I swear their chemistry is crazy good and both the main lead actors are really good at giving life to their characters. War is the actor best fit for Joke/Joker. Considering the character being deceitful or playing different persons, War's face alone especially his eyes can express different emotions and words without need of lines. I am impressed by his acting. I wouldn't say I watched enough number of thai bl dramas but they really have a tendency to have loopholes in their plot or the actors are awkward at playing their characters. This drama is one of few thai bl dramas that have both solid storyline and casts.
New in somewhat villain-like character? That sounds really interesting and I'm excited to see him nail that character! This one has very intriguing solid plot. I hope they'll be able to translate it well in the drama.
Wow, I know this has a very solid storyline but the actors being so good just make this drama so much better. My heart hurts the whole time but as long as it made me feel, I stopped caring. This is why I don't believe giving "having only 8 episodes" as mere excuse for crappy drama because like how can 5 episodes with 23 mins tops each episode make me feel so much like this. Wish they could give a clear ending but the fact that this drama is heartbreakingly beautiful makes up for that.
To be honest, the flashbacks of their youth are nicely done but the present story is really lacking. They have the best friend trope to use for their advantage but they did not do it well. The story is still a bit dry and almost boring. Imagine waiting for ten years and that's the best new start "romance" you could write for them? To be continued here seems to mean we are always waiting for something surprising or amazing to happen (like a turning point) but it never came. The actors deserve a better storyline.
I'm sorry but Sunwoo and Yugyeom are doing everything main leads should do from first episode to the last. Their story reach my heart and I was rooting for them. What the heck are Yiwon and Ji Oh doing the whole time? Just fighting! This is why enemies to lovers tropes if not done well is annoying. The last episode save their characters though, phew. I haven't watch the thai drama so I don't know if because this one being shorter so the story for the main lead couple wasn't given justice or what. This is a short drama so I was surprised that they keep on repeating the scenes of the last episode longer than necessary.
It's cliche but it's cute and sweet. I enjoyed it so much more than I expected! Totally not as bad as they say. Time passed by quickly and I didn't realised in no time I finished it already!
The soul mate and rain idea is a little bit overtop but cute and sweet until it became something that fcked up their lives. I love how this drama touched a lot of facets of relationships whether it be family and romantic ones. This drama emphasized how words are as important as actions. Feelings and thoughts need to be translated into words as well to avoid misunderstandings that can easily destroy relationship or stop it from being form in the first place. It also made me think about one falling in love with another because of their good qualities but when faced with their imperfect qualities, we usually don't want to deal with it. It is ironic that this drama started its story with fantasy but gives us a very realistic views of what actually happened in relationships. This just makes me appreciate this drama more.
Oh? So it is actually related to the fabricated city movie? I can't wait for this! Changwook and Kyungsoo in a drama together...the duo I never imagine I needed! I am excited for KS as a villain, he would do so well!
I only watch this because of Taemin . I don't know any of the groups, heard some of them though. It was such a wonder knowing them and their personality. Wish that the production let them sing live though. I enjoyed all the performances but the finals are not grand as I expected probably the lack of audience. After watching the show....
