He was SO annoying at first. Only got mildly better as it went on, but to the end I never really got what he brought to the drama or the romance.

So true. And at the end of the day the setting of the reality tv show and all those beautifully picturesque places barely even mattered to the heart of the story.

I agree that Kim Seonho did a great job with the languages, he sold me on Hojin being an interpreter. Unfortunately the rest of his performance was very underwhelming, though he did have some nice moments with Cha Muhee. When you play a closed off character you still have to interpret him as having a rich inner life or you come off as flat, and he didn't manage to do that.

The writing and pacing didn't help but it would have gone down easier and I would have been more invested if I'd liked his performance more.

Ha, I'm watching episode 6 rn but yes to all that ott makeup being distracting. They also go heavy on the highlighter on her nose and I'm like 🤔Am I supposed to be focusing on her crying or on her shimmery skin? Visual fatigue is a good way to put it.

Ah, the pouty/childish affect to sound cute? I didn't find it too bad personally.

Talking about what really matters here, I don't get why GYJ's eyebrows are bleached, is it supposed to make her face look softer or something? She looks so much better when they're dark.

I wasn't sure about giving this a try since I found MSM's acting in Wedding Impossible frankly lame. Glad to hear it's gotten better一I'll wait for a few episodes then give it a go.

after a tremendous and fun start i ended up skipping most of the last episodes, and nothing of value was lost.

Am I the only one skipping like half of the episode? I don't care about the stupid company plot, I'm just here to watch Darim and Jihyeok act lovey dovey. The soft touches and kisses when they were in bed was really nice.

Yeah he was delicious in it, but ultimately I wasn't convinced by the plot.

It's gotten so bad that I've started to find his face eminently punchable now and just skip all his scenes. The pissing contest with Jihyeok also hella annoys me and gives me hella secondhand embarrassment. Darim is not a fucking prize to be won you know?!

To think I was initially happy to see a platonic relationship between a man and a woman who are supportive childhood bffs! It should have stayed that way.
