I desperately want to like this series because I love Joong and Dunk, but I'm honestly finding it so boring so far. I was waiting for GMM to give Joong and Drunk a good series, because Star in My Mind was just okay. But I would honestly rather watch that than this, at this point.
I think Joong and Drunk have great chemistry, I just wish they would give them a new, interesting storyline.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Fish Upon the Sky, but I liked Pond and Phuwin. And when they put out Never Let Me Go, I was so happy because it was a unique plot and it was INTERESTING. And it was so different than Fish Upon the Sky. That's what I wanted from a new Joong and Dunk series. Something different.
I'm just confused on why they would give Joong and Dunk something so similar to their other series. I haven't read the book this is based on and I know we still have six more episodes... but I'm just unsure of what they're going to do to make it interesting.
I'm really really hoping for a turn around and I end up absolutely loving the show in the end. But as for now, I'm just bored. 🤷♀️
Just how censored is the romance in this? I don't really want to start if there's no payoff...
it's very obvious that the two leads have feelings for each other! i don't think we're going to get a kiss or even a "real" declaration of love - but the feelings are so blatantly there. it has all the jealousy, longing looks, romantic bike rides. and they've expressed their feelings in subtle ways.
it's worth the watch! i think everyone in the comments agrees that even if it's not labeled a real bl, it's clearly much more than a bromance.
I'm surprised by how many people don't like this series!! I've been really enjoying it. I'm happy Ja and First are doing something I'm enjoying, because Remember Me was a massive fail. I'm excited to see where this series goes!
as someone who loved the addicted series, i'm loving this series just as much. it's like it's the same series, but through an entirely different lens. it's softer, wholesome and heartwarming. while addicted was gritty, sexy and in your face, stay with me makes me feel warm and fuzzy. and i enjoy both of the series for their differences. i get why some people prefer the original and i also get why some people prefer this version.
i've read the book up until that one scene that we don't speak of (i dropped it after that), but it's been so fun to see scenes taken directly from the book in stay with me!
i would have loved to seen this as an actual bl and not a censored bromance - however, even with it being censored, i feel like this series is more romantic than a lot of other bls i've watched.
overall, i'm glad to see mostly positive opinions of the series! i know it's fun to compare series, especially since they're both based off the same book, but i think it's only fair to both series to separate them and judge them for what they truly are. they both have a wonderful storyline and phenomenal cast.
anyway, i'm really excited to see where the storyline goes! especially since i stopped reading the book. i am not sure where we're going next and i'm excited to see! :)
it's not a really similar plot, but jack o'frost was wonderful! it's emotional and it made me feel all the feelings.…
and if you're just looking for jdramas in general, i definitely recommend my beautiful man (utsukushii kare)! it is one of my favorite bls of all time. i think it's a hit or miss, though. some people absolutely love it and some people don't like it at all. but it's one of my favorites for sure!
Any recommendation of bl drama preferably jdrama similar to this one ??? Im new in bl and dying waiting for the…
it's not a really similar plot, but jack o'frost was wonderful! it's emotional and it made me feel all the feelings. it's about a couple who break up but the night they break up, one of them gets into an accident and suffers from memory loss. so the whole series is them falling in love all over again. it's really sweet!
this series has been wonderful so far! i was skeptical at first because the first episode didn't completely draw me in, but after watching the second one, i'm officially hooked! i can't wait for this week's episode!
I've now watched the first two episodes and I fail to see why so many commentators are so down on this series.…
this is how i feel too! it's definitely not my favorite series airing at the moment, but i've been enjoying it for the most part! i was really surprised to see all the negative comments about it!
I say it every week, but somehow it's getting better and better every week! This show has been a masterpiece so far. I really really hope it continues to be as good throughout the next four episodes! I just love this series so much!
I hope Gawin and Krist are paying attention to the fan's reactions because I've seen nothing but positive feelings about it. And for Gawin's first main role on GMM, that's amazing! I hope he's feeling extra proud of himself!
does anyone know if this is based on a book? i feel like i keep seeing it everywhere that it is, but i can't seem to find any info about it! and if so, is there any insight about what's happening in the show from the book? like what's going on with lomfon being able to hear tai and patts? and why all of a sudden the soul connection is gone?
I think like you, Lomfon was asking about himself and choosing between Tai and Tien. Imo he didn't say anything…
Yesss! These were my thoughts exactly. I think Lomfon has feelings for Tian, but I don't know if he accepts them yet. And now, he has the whole drama with Tai and Patts going on... I'm sure he is extra confused.
I'm hoping we're going to get more answers in next week's episode. I hope we actually get some solid answers!
alsooo... what do we think about lomfon's question about picking the person you like vs. your soulmate?
because when i watched it the first time, i thought lomfon was talking about liking tian, but now knowing that tai is his soulmate.
but when tian confessed and lomfon didn't say anything... i'm now wondering if he was referring to his love triangle with patts and tai. but, that doesn't make sense to me... since lomfon knows that tai is his soulmate at that time too. so wouldn't he be considered his soulmate AND someone he liked?
so do we think he's talking about tian? my lomfon/tian shipper heart needs the answer.
I feel like I'm watching every show for the side couple right now. I just want Lomfon to get over Tai and face his feelings for Tian. I don't care about the soulmate bullshit, I don't care about Tai and Patt's relationship... especially after this trainwreck episode.
I literally just want a full episode of Lomfon and Tian figuring out their shit and living happily ever after. Then the show can end.
Can't believe we have to watch two more episodes of them throwing tantrums to see how this will end. 😒
