"Ji Hyun exhibits no signs of insecurity." - he does. He is terrified when he cannot find Jae Won in the morning.
But he doesn't seem very concerned during the party in the last episode. His insecurity won't go away simply with surface-level assurance. And that's what they showed us. They could have given the show more depth by focusing on the leads in the last episode and how they work their way through it. My point is, for someone who has been kissed then ignored, had sex with and then ignored, he trusts far too easily for a character who has been through those experiences.
