The only one I can speak to is The Good, The Bad, and The Weird and it is AWESOME! I highly recommend it! It's definitely one of my favorite foreign films. Of course I like this kind of film in English too so I was bound to like the Korean version. But if you like Westerns or you like Tarantino films I think you would like this. Watch it!

Anyone know who will show this with English subs? It doesn't look like it will be on Viki or Dramafever (at least not right away).

Thank you for your comment. I agree that I find it unbelievable most of the time (especially in the misogynist context of Korean dramas). Sometimes I find it more believable than others, though. For instance, I find Dalja's Spring far more believable than Kim Sam Soon. I can't put my finger on why exactly except that I think Chae Rim is really pretty in that where I don't think the same of Kim Sun Ah in Kim Sam Soon. Either way, though, Hyun Bin is still pure awesomeness and I'd watch him read the phone book.

Oh NO! Just saw on Soompi that YSH is going to enlist early next year shortly after he is done with Missing You. I guess it's a good idea since he has been acting for so long already and when he comes back he'll be all grown up (yummy)! It just seems weird since so many actors go in their late twenties and he's just a baby, but I guess that's actually the norm in S. Korea.

Anyone else other than me giving up on this one? Maybe my opinion is unpopular and that is fine, but Episode 12…
I can understand wanting to know what happens (since I invested 12 hours in it already). I think I'll watch the last ep just to see how it ends. I mean, I even did that with the absolute train wreck that was Fashion King, so I guess I can give that much consideration to Missing You at least. But whatever happens in the interim I just can't bring myself to care about.

I am half way through a 2nd viewing and decided to up my rating from 9 to 10. This drama really is perfection. It has all the right things without having so many of the annoying cliches in most romantic Kdramas (annoying and useless female lead, terminal disease, meddling parents, evil woman who wants male lead, obnoxious male lead who becomes nicer over time, noble idiocy/white-fanging, needless plot repetition to make add episodes...I'm sure there's more).

Anyone else other than me giving up on this one? Maybe my opinion is unpopular and that is fine, but Episode 12 sealed it for me. It's just one big teary slog and I can't take it anymore. I cared about the characters early on, but it's just so over the top and there is so much crying that I am immune to it all and just don't care anymore. I watched because I liked the cast, but even they cannot save this for me. If someone is recapping it somewhere, I'll read recaps and probably watch the last ep, but that's it.

A cooking vlog sounds like fun, but I hope someone else does it. I dislike the idea of being on video about as much as I love cooking Korean food!

The first Kdrama I watched was Dae Jang Geum, and I've been obsessed with Korean food ever since. I really wanted to try bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) after seeing them in Crime Squad (Song Ji Hyo's character liked them so much I was dying to try them). But the recipe I found required kimchi, which can't be bought where I live, so I made my own. I have since become totally addicted to having kimchi in my house. The last batch I made was probably somewhere in the realm of 64 quarts or more. I can't live without it. Or my bindaetteok, which are one of my favorite foods. I also make japchae, jjajangmyun, doenjang jigae and a whole lot of other things. I'd say I am totally addicted to Korean cooking all thanks to Kdramas!

The perfect combination of flawless looks and acting ability. I love Hyun Bin! He is perfection! Can't wait for his next gig. I hope it is a drama because that just so many more hours of Binnie to watch.

Song Seung Hoon is hot, no doubt, but he can't act his way out of a paper bag. I would have had Park Si Hoo or Kang Ji Hwan there instead. But love the rest of the list. Song Il Gook is the reason I became addicted to Kdramas.

Netflix only has this dubbed. Anyone know if there are any versions available with subtitles instead? I'm dying to see this but I can't stand dubbing. It ruins the film.
