sorry, I tried to verify the timeline of their rs and remembered that they only became official at ep. 17 while, the confession is at ep. 16 (for some reason there had been some sort of dilly dally that cause the delay of the first planned confession LOL), but at least for me, ep. 15 is the start of their lovestory LOL. and they had no breakups after getting together. i can pretty much vouch that the late episodes were sm better.

There had always been an attraction and tension between them even from the start. As for the romantic feelings it had been hinted lightly around ep. 6-7? At ep. 11, ML admits his feelings to himself and plans on confessing to the FL. They had a mutual understanding in ep. 13 and became official in ep. 15.
when i say i want a CLICHE contractual relationship, this is what i meant!!! the leads' chemistry is SO good and overwhelming!!!! 💗 i also love how they both have development in different aspects — sichen gradually warms up and perfectly shows his building affection, whereas, i love how xixi slowly and motivatedly establish herself and brand in the industry. i also love how they support and trust each other so much — instead of fighting over petty stuff, they chose to fight the difficult times together. and i literally screamed when xixi appeared in the ending (i mean i wasn't surprised since it's quite obvious lol)!!! quite liberating to see that scene since it's an uncommon thing to see in c-dramas!!! Overall, i give this an 8/10!!!
recently found out about Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He's dating rumours, yet her I am still waiting for KaiLu's cb show ACCCKKK naur!!! watched almost all their shows and loved it all, but their works and chemistry still remains unmatched for me :<
