visit this site again after a long time.. and i noticed that some users mentioned that rating in mdl should be higher. here i want to clarify again. the rating used to be above 8.0. but later after jisoo dropped out from the drama, the rating immediately dropped. not just in here.. but in other site as well like viki. reason? his fan were the culprit. why? they're are dissatisfied (in other words burthurt) with his removal from the drama. so yes, the rating probably higher than this but his fans who aren't even watching the drama gave the lower rating. well.. this has became the story in the past. i just want to make clarification on why the rating here is lower.

nahh.. jisoo is the one that really bad as an ondal.. he isn't ondal. didn't even look as a fool ondal in the folktale. thank god he's already replaced by inwoo who had 100 times better in acting and even nominated in baeksang. I'm glad

let's be honest, the low rating was given by jisoo's fans right? coz i don't believe that the rating is that low

if they originally used a fictional name instead of real name from a real historical figure, it would be no problem.

yes.. coz they used the real historical figure name like kim taejong, whom they potrayed as opposit to the real life of him, so it's seen as a distortion of history. so now they'll change the characters name into fictional name, who aren't relatee to any real historical figure

coz it's the editing..it's like his scenes were only copy paste in jisoo's originally.. but the next week episodes and onwards then we will see his real acting coz the setups was real. unlike this week episode

i think the bully traits already exist in their gene since looong time ago. just see the attitude of their knetz, their cyber bullying is on another level which can make ppl suicide.

yeah.. let's just assume that he's such a bully. he bullied a group of poachers who didn't have any sympathy for animals, tried to saw its horns while being alive. it's indeed a bully. but a good bully. he gave lesson to the bad poachers.

nanny is being manipulative? yeah let's agree that she's indeed a manipulative. but in a good way. on dal back then who saw his father being killed in front of him, he might do something that even can endanger the tribe. thank god the nanny was being manipulative so that everyone can be saved.

owh and point no 2.. it's also so obvious that all of that was the King's imagination. and it's already proven that the queen and the monk didn't even meet in the later episode. so pyeonggang is indeed a legitimate child between king and queen. so seeing the comment from potatochips, is it hard to see that this was all misunderstanding?

point 4: it's called qing gong.. so as the best killer in the group.. it isn't surprising to have good qing gong.

last point: desperate measure in desperate time. so it's understandable why the nanny acted like that. she's desperate to prevent on dal to have his revenge

louderrrr...example, i remembered ksh also a 2nd option in school 2015. look her position now. and that school 2015 is one of the best school 2015 ever. and school 2015 is still being discussed till this time

i don't think it's a terrible casting.. coz this emphasised that the mother and the daughter has an uncanny resemblances.. but if they insisted that the mother played by someone else.. only son yejin and han gain deserves the roles.. if only if in this drama, they want to emphasis that the daughter resembles her mother. or else, it wouldn't be perfect.

i kind of guessing dat the prince is too young to remember her mother face.. while the nanny, it is indeed puzzling to not recognize queen's face. dark room, maybe? while for the king, he is thinking about his queen like almost every day.. so his memory abt queen's face must be strong...that's why he recognised her almost immediately.. hahhaha... just my assumption

she played queen yeon first, so that later in the story the king will believe that she's really the missing princess pyeonggang.. coz princess pyeonggang resembles her mother queen yeon so much. I remembered watching another sageuk/modern dramas where the daughter face is very different with the mother face... but there's a line mentioned that you resembles ur mother so much. this make me cringed actually coz no resemblance at all. pd using ksh as queen yeon actually is make sense in this aspect.

and next... after 8 years later.. ksh plays the queen yeon's daughter.. yeom gajin (amnesiac killer) and then princess pyeonggang. bear in mind that queen yeon is already dead. so now ksh roles solely focus on character yeom gajin and princess pyeonggang.
