it's still too early to post the main poster. this is just a teaser poster
but that's understandable. he is a 4th billing. i assume he'll appear 2/3 weeks before the air date. even minhyun character poster doesn't come out yet.

Um- I love the leads but kinda disappointed that Seo Jihoon isn't included in posters anywhere.

poster / title what's going wrong ? it looks like a cdrama poster and cheesy title to me lolif i wasn't paying…
to each their own. while i dont understand the hype of kdrama posters. what is so right abt kdrama posters? most of the time, i see no difference between cdrama and kdrama. but sometimes, i felt that kdrama is just too simple lol.

i wonder if tvn is actually testing the water by promoting this drama so early in order to see the ifans reaction. coz I've a hunch that they still hasn't decided the global ott for this drama. i think that they're in the middle of convincing this particular ott to take this drama. whatever it is, i hope it will be netflix.

i remember last time this drama supposedly had more episodes. but they cut it down in order to pass the censorship. i guess, if they didn't cut the episodes, maybe they would address abt this matter.

Title Who Rules the World Spoiler
i quite puzzled with the reception of ep 39 and 40 here, coz these last 2 episodes are my most favourite among them all. perhaps this is because only in these 2 episodes i have a good feeling towards the cp.

to be honest, I'm not a drama person, but there're some criteria for me to watch a drama especially romance: 1) it's my fav's actor /actress drama 2) have a good feeling with the cp. from ep 1 to 38, i only watched it becoz of 1), and i don't really feeling the great chemistry between the leads like everyone here claimed. it feel forced to me.

so can u guys imagine how forced i felt watching the cp scenes? πŸ˜‚ but that's not until i reached the last 2 episodes..hahaha. their chemistry is acceptable there. how i wish i get the feeling earlier, coz i know I'll enjoy watching this more. btw, another reason why i like the last 2 episodes is because i enjoy watching the war scenes.

this might be the last time I'll be talking abt this drama here. so also i want to take the opportunity to say this. from my bias opinion, yangyang acting skills in potraying the sad scenes in ep 40 is very good! i already prepared myself to cry a river during the hanpu's death actually, but my tears only came out during the scenes where lanxi holding xiyun in the carriage, and it continued until the scenes where he revived her with the help of the master. the scarification they made towards each other, especially lanxi is very touching and heartbreaking to see. u can see how lanxi loves xiyun so much at there.

as a novel reader, i think the drama really did the novel justice, and the drama is even better. even tho the tragedies' setting happened on female lead didn't really adapted in the drama, but in the drama, they still created a tragedy for female lead by killing hanpu's character, and it's done quite well. in the novel, the tragedy happened towards xiyun's general, xie jiurong. it used the same war setting which happened in the mountain luoying, where the scenes in the novel is way mooore bloody. xiyun was covered in blood coz xie jiurong used his blood (his blood has magical powee) to protect her so she's saved from the enemy. this scene is the best scene in the novel for me.

I'll still give this drama 10 rating despite not liking certain things in this drama. coz what i like abt it exceeds the things that i dislike. and i know if I've a good feeling of the cp earlier, it'll be more enjoyable to watch like majority else did.

As much as I like this drama, I can’t help making fun of all the nonsensical things happening, eg; photocopier…
hahahaha.. i can relate this. perhaps it's wuxia after all πŸ˜‚ but idk whether i can bring myself to say i like this drama, coz actually, I wouldn't watch something like this if it's not for yy πŸ˜… i prefer xianxia than wuxia. but i did enjoy watching yy visuals & acting, the casts' outfits, the martial arts (except last night ep), the war formation, and ml family's drama.

I considered myself as a novel person instead of drama person. no offence but the novel is sooooo boring. only some scenes are worth-mentioning. i don't think it has enough resources to be adapted to drama. so in my opinion, the drama makes the story to be more colourful. but of course there're some setting in the novel that i wished they retain/ inserted in the drama.

lol, I feel like I might be in the minority here, but that duel scene between Xiyun and HC looked so bad. Ugh,…
I've commented here before as well whether the martial arts director left as well coz the fighting quality really dropped as compared to earlier episodes πŸ˜† u aren't alone. ppl s called it washing machine πŸ˜‚

coincidentally, I've been wanting to ask abt zhao lusi's eyebrow since ep 1, but refraining myself as I'm worried it is a sensitive topic πŸ˜… i wonder whether it's make up artist fault/ it's always been like that (not symmetry)? this is my 1st time watching her drama
