just watched ep 19. i think I'm one of the minority who preferred the political/ scheming plots revolves around the ml. ml brother who tried to outwit the queen by faking his illness make me appreciate his character more. hope he will never betray the ml.

abt misunderstanding, during the very same war I've mentioned, fl suspected ml and wondered why ml was late to send his army, while ml wondered why fl other army suddenly come to the rescue.

abt break up, after the arc of ml rescued fl from dying and become white-haired man, fl left ml after their 1st night together. becoz she wanted to live as bai fengxi again, not feng xiyun. but not so long coz ml will join fl later and left the political world.

i don't think ml in who rules the world is cold. he is quite cunning actually yet warmth and open towards fl. among the dramas you've listed, i only watched princess agent, eternal love and love and redemption. but the mls personality are still different with hei fengxi/ feng lanxi. well, that's from my observation. oh even in the beginning, the ml also pretended to be sick. fl also sometimes came to the rescue when ml faced problems.
