I agree! The novel to tldhlb was drawn out! Maybe that's why this show is only 8 eps

Short version: Phums parents don’t want him and Peem together and Phums mom kind of influences Peem to break up with Phum so he does. But Phum has pre-existing stomach issues and the stress gets to him and he ends up getting sick. He is OK and they reconcile after a bit but it’s sad for everyone.
