finished ep 14 so far and unless fl has Stockholm syndrome, i don't get how she can fall for Wei Zhao, when not only he tried to kill her for real not once but twice(or more ? don't remember, and he did not try to save her ), deliberatly pushing his fingers into her injuries(how vicious is that) and use her as a pawn... Pei Yan is not clean either, he's using her too but he didn't hurt her physically, and is he evil ? so far not that worse than Wei Zhao when he tries to kill an innocent civilian (her) just because she was on his way...
i love this show ! it's so pleasant and endearing to watch, the cast is so nice, tried to watch 'country life of gen-z' because of the countryside vibe but it's over the top, trying too hard to be funny... any other show with this nice vibe ?
mdl if you could put a scale for tears please, so people can classify from a bit sad to non stop crying so i can…
Without tushang he wouldn't be King...
A first i was mad at her, found her selfish, always played the victim card, she broke tushang heart, first because she had more pity than love towards him, then cos she didn't get over his situation when he didn't do anything wrong ! but she redeem herself in my eyes with the hearbraking wedding...
Cui xang had so many opportunities to tell her he wants her as queen before even being a king, selfish too...
i did NOT expect to cry so much, last ep almost non stop, because it was the end of this epic journey, -then for Cui Xang when he told her he loved her but he would not give up everything for her which was a lie ! i mean in theory because in reality of course they would resent each other if the world would end in chaos because of a crappy king but who knows maybe a good king would have come ?... -then when her sister gave her the wooden object and asking her to travel everywhere with her -then when Cui Xang didn't get any news from her after decades, and why is that by the way ?
there are several hearbraking stories during the whole drama, but i'm so glad the one i shipped finished by a happy ending ! big crush on Tushang and the actor The music was so good, loved the colors, decors, cast
is the novel different, why did he start a war when it was peaceful ? why everyone kept from her the fact her brother(cousin) was in love with her ? The title to me is meant for Cian, he lost her forever the day she was sent to mont jade or the day he found out he was in love with her, an unhealthy obsessive love...
mdl if you could put a scale for tears please, so people can classify from a bit sad to non stop crying so i can avoid future migraine (yes crying gives me headaches😅), Weirdly it's my first time watching Yang Zi and Jian Ci, very impressed by their acting ! please tell me if samsara is as sad so i can skip it😁 my opinion here:
totally agree for the chinese parts,Yu Shu prevented me from starting many drama that otherwise i would love to see, just couldn't bear listening to her voice too... but i would have add more famous chinese actors to the list😅, mostly agree with the korean list haha
they sold us 'toys' in the box, polyamorous story (by the way is it the new trend in korea ? it's in dnal lover too), they make him appear like he knows how to flirt, even if in the story he's young and doesn't seem to have experience, but they gave us a blant kiss😂 I love the humor, they didn't over do it, like trying too hard to look funny and the result is so funny, like the table on the foot or her face in between the couple kissing
ep 10 was too real, everybody dumped their life struggles/drama, i have nothing against that type of drama when i want to see one, this is labelled differently, that's why i didn't expect it to be so heavy, i thought ok the heaviest part is done, it's gonna be lighter next time, but not so sure😅, The acting from everyone is very good, nobody can deny that, please don't be mad at each other here, some are happy, some disappointed, but it's out of love(right😅 we all have different expectations in life ☺️
people don't get the toll a depression has on family members, here the boyfriend might seem insensible but he went through hard times with her, and the pressure got to him, it doesn't mean he doesn't love her, in that case it's not just her depression, she was sick before and that makes him too brutal in his words, it's like a triple sentence, few would survive that Sometimes you get mad at someone out of desperation and feeling useless, what i mean is people expect unconditionnal love to go smoothly without any bumps, it's not that simple, and as much as she needs her family, her not wanting to see them sad/worried might be an additionnal burden...
they all talk about stealing lands but isn't it won on the battlefield, so the winner got the land, don't know why they call it stealing... you played, you lost... The casting is impressive, must have cost a fortune, you can see they saved some money on cgi😅, especially on horse riding... Often same issues, some scenes were way too dark
About the controversial sex scenes, they were too reveling which was unecessary, they wanted to depict their animalistic side, but you can do it by suggestions... anyway as a western series addict for decades, i switched to k-dramas and c-dramas because it got like basically watching porn...they probably wanted to appeal to a western public...explicit nudity/sexual violence is absolutely not necessary to watch to get the point of the writer... For the person who said it's not gore, well it was the definition of gore in my book😅
BUT outside of these parts that i didn't like, the drama manages to grasp your attention, the unfolding of the plot was quiet interesting and the acting was good
just discovered this actor, he's so cute when he smiles, i always wonder how some are more famous than others, what's the trick ? to sell your soul to the devil ?...
it's a well written show ! Question, is there a secret type of school to make korean men so charming ? 😅😂, some are gonna say it's call acting school haha but nevertheless it looks natural
i'm liking this show, despite the polyamorous plot (that's just western marketing influence), the 2ml love the fl so much, it's sad to watch, but can't chose between the 2 guys for her
it was like what the heck is she letting her ex following her everywhere, who cares when she loves her childhood friend but now i get it, they had this bond in sickness and he supported her, no wonder she's nice to him What was the text his mum got ? like it's time to tell the son smthg, a divorce ? but was it from the father or the ex-lover, as in he's the real dad ? 😅hope it's just my imagination😂
either i don't how to search on google but i can never find the filming date of chinese tv shows/dramas 😅, could someone tell me when did he film 'explore the unknown'?
Pei Yan is not clean either, he's using her too but he didn't hurt her physically, and is he evil ? so far not that worse than Wei Zhao when he tries to kill an innocent civilian (her) just because she was on his way...
