surprised it's very good so far, usually i don't write that early but those 4 first ep deserve a praise ! and it doesn't seem to have a murder plot out of nowhere in the future😂
i loved the simplicity of their married life or emperor's couple, they look so approchable but what i enjoyed less is the breakdown of events, the different pace, why such a dense last ep ? putting a plot, the realisation and the solution of a plot in one ep... there were many rich characters, could have been incredible but it stayed just very good... 8. 5/10 Their couple was so good, wish they had more adventures, the ost is one of my fav, satisfying ending
i'm among those who defended the pace but now it's been more than 5 ep with the same pace, it's a pity that Mian Tang don't use her skills anymore, but it's her choice, she wanted a peaceful life😅, the evil mother/daughter duo is really annoying, how long are theh going to plot, and his mother is so naive, always getting influenced by them..., didn't want to be disappointed, but i am already, 6ep left and they gonna pack everything into the last ones(as usual)...
when i see the trailer 33/34 and the pace till now, i wonder if there's no gonna be a season 2...because it doesn't make sense that if trouble there is, that it's gonna start so late in the show, no ?
went in cos not much to watch, binged watch 4 ep already, good surprise, first time watching the ml/fl actors,she's adorable !and he plays the 'baddy' so well so far, he's a bit scary😂
So many things could have happened in the last few ep, but nope, going slowly and steady and i'm sooo invested haha, don't know if it's the music, the dialogue... but it just absorbs you... it deserves more episodes than 40 if they keep this pace, and wish there were ! again they better dispatch all the stuff harmoniously in the rest of the ep !
it's surprisingly entertaining to me (after reading some bad comments), there are some annoying part, like saying all the time the long gene stuff instead of saying just 'the gene', cos by now we know what they r talking about😅 It's a bit weird and quirky but better than many othe shows...
I want to offer my opinion about LMT (because of the amount of ppl bashing her and saying how she is too indifferent…
and she knows that he has duties at the palace and that they can marry him off anyway they want, even if in the past they could have get married, now it's another story,(even if he always find loopholes to get out of the forced marriage situation, she doesn't know that, that's why she left after hearing the decree...), she doesn't want a life of a housewife stuck in that court environnement... and if he knew that she would marry him if he leaves his position, he would quit right away...
about ep 26/27, she looks so happy at the market in her merchant job! not sure i really get her past, she said to her grand father she faked her marriage to Cui ji,which is confusing with ml name Cui, so she escaped in the mountain because she didn't want to get married to this guy she didn't know, but what was the story from her grandfather/family perspective:that she was kidnapped or that she escaped to marry another guy in the mountain (the guy that her uncle knew Zi), And between them once they got to know each other,they fancy each other, but did actually smthg happened between them before she caught him with Zun'er ? anyway this part is confusing, they could have elaborate more on why, and how did Zi Yu ended up in the mountain, even the story with the emperess at the court is interesting, now when i think about it, only 13 ep left and it's gonna be packed in comparaison with the 27 because there's so many things to solve...
I love this show bit i always get frustrated when a show reach the 30 's cos first it start the syndrom of soon no more episodes(yeah i know it' s early 😅) and then they always put everything in the last 2/3 ep...
