Of course it is an adaptation so it won’t be the same - I never said it should. I am however saying 46 episodes condensed into 16 is a signifucant difference and could possibly really change the content and I would hate that.
As for my thoughts about the drama - I ate it up from start to finish - without fastforwarding once and rewatched it twice more back to back. I adored it. Simply my opinion.

I know the standard - I have watched a ton which is why I came back to the page to see how many and yes it can cut back dragging parts but 46 eps to 16 is a lot and to me the Cversion did not have dragging parts. I was enthralled from beginning to end, I worry it will leave out so many of the things I love. I hope what is cut out - if things have to be cut - are the friends side stories and nothing from the family. I was kind of hoping this would be at least 20. And I am hoping too that they give us the longer 70-80 minute eps but as if yet that is not listed. Here is hoping...

You need to watch the C -version. You will not regret it. I watched it then rewatched it two more times in consecutive order. It was so hard to move on from.
Oh my gosh... WHY did I not know about this!!! Go Ahead is one of my all time favorites. A freaking timeless story that just makes you feel from head to toe. There is just so much to love about this drama. Sooooo looking forward to it!!!
I'vs seen a couple of times now in comments that XL is just a 'typical' grey character and for the life of me I see absolutely NOTHING typical about XL. 🤭

They would be foolish to is all I can say. XL's character has the power to even make people who don't want to like his character- like him - despite themselves. That kind of character should never just be put on the shelf. I myself, will be highly disappointed.
