ok I understand completely bc I feel like ive been bewitched. is it the architecture part that you don't like? or their romance? doesnt the whole murder mystery aspect make it so intriguing??

I feel you. I watch so many dramas and just drop them but this one was soooo entertaining from start to finish. and while I agree with the statement of cdrama writers using certain business settings more than others, it wasn't really boring in this one. in other dramas, the business meetings and talk is so overpowering in a bland way but I didn't find myself really skipping this one. very refreshing to see.

she was my favorite in Perfect Match and I honestly thought she and Wang Xing Yue were my favorite OTP but nope. This one beats it by a mile.

I feel like the budget would just be too high, or in the states at least. everything is expensive here. the drama's game is like a massive escape room on crack so it would take consistent story-changing and volatility to keep it interesting... and the space would have to be like two Costcos put together which again, is $$$

He is so manly and just so attractive, SO SO different from the typical skinny boy in cdramas. I love his height, his build, his HANDS 🥵 and even his arm hair lmao.
Honestly, I love that he chose to keep his body hair, in a country where perfection=flawless skin, including body hair. No shade to others, just really love seeing someone who isn't afraid to just keep the hair on his arms or on his underarms.

the writers must know how well our ML suits that era. The drama is modern based, but they play a virtual reality roleplaying murder mystery game several times, and the setting is the Republican era. Hence the many beautiful costumes.

Can we take a second to appreciate the Republican era costumes?! They're all so gorgeous! And she looks beautiful in every single one, wow! The hats and little veils are so classy, wish they were still worn today.

I love Neo but their off-screen chemistry just was not hitting. Whether it was bc he was nervous or didn't want his fanbase to criticize them, him constantly avoiding eye contact with her did not sit well with me. Their drama was good though, moreso in the first half. I see them more as friends or even siblings bc they're both so pretty lol

I've watched almost all the dramas the leads were in, and honestly (I'm not just saying this bc im high on their chemistry rn) these two look the best together visually.
The chemistry is good, not the best yet tbh, BUT they just look SO GOOD together. I love how she has the natural beauty and he has the harder-looking face that softens, and can I just say I've been getting sick of skinny male actors in China so seeing someone with a good build is AMAZING.
bravo, I thought my all-time fav would be her with WangXingYue but I have been debunked! 💓 cannot wait for them to get together.
