Just finished this, and wow-- so much better than I was expecting. SOOO many characters to fall in love with, you literally end up loving more than half the cast. Also, all the hate w the heavenly lord but have y'all seen other dramas where they're ACTUALLY evil? Just be grateful this one isn't like that lol, that's a different kind of stressor. Last ep was also rlly cute^ ty reddit for recommending this for me hahaha
Mofang is such *chef's kiss* oh my goodness. Also , sure the ML is kinda hot too w his overprotectiveness and unexpected quirkiness, BUT... he falls short to our General Mofang. HIS charisma is on another level.
if I'm not mistaken, immortals can be born too, from other clans and other immortals.the divine realm is where…
yeah I kinda wanted to know in the context of this drama though, bc it seems to be different than the usual based on some drama summaries. I think I'm used to the born-immortals/gods being way more powerful than the mortal-to-immortal beings, in this case immortal realm vs divine realm but apparently they're both equal in this drama? idk it's confusing.
Without any spoilers can someone tell me what the difference between immortal and divine realm is? (I'm starting ep 7) why does the divine realm look more "godly" when they're supposedly mortals who reach immortality by their own means? Are they stronger than those in the immortal realm?
Funny how it's ep 10 and we have yet to see our lovey dovey romcom scenes :'(
But I just wanted to say, it's great that her family is more understanding of her now... but is that what it takes to have our family show support and unconditional love? Us being sick? It's kind of giving me puberty-driven thoughts again hahaha and not the happy kind.
Ok I just saw in ep 11Haha didn’t know it would be the next ep itself with a kissAnd omg you can literally see…
Love Next Door is kind of meh but it's finally getting a bit more interesting-- I only started watching bc it's on Netflix so it's easier to watch, but also like the ML. Ep 8 ended on a cliffhanger but it's like an OHHHHHH moment haha I got spoiled though so I won't spoil it for you. I can see it getting fun in the upcoming episodes so I have high hopes. No Gain No Love is more fun imo just because the storyline is a bit more interesting, and I really like the FL. it's not the best tbh but it's also something to pass the time hahaha
My sisters and I were laughing bc where did he get that many?? They've been almost out of circulation since the…
I think it's because $2 signify luck! In Korean culture at least, my family gives out $2 on New Year's in addition to the regular new year allowance. Having the whole envelope filled with these must mean he wants her to have as much luck as possible- or at least that's what I assumed.
-could he be one of the Chairman's illegitimate sons? When he had an affair in the past? That would explain why he had to join that specific company :/ but it's very cliche so idk
-the picture with her mom- if he was a foster child our FL would know so I don't think it's that... but how would he know her mom then? The mom seemed to somewhat recognize him at the wedding when she affectionally said his name
-our second FL seems to have childhood trauma, but they seem to emphasize it like it's something we don't know yet-- so we can pretty much guess she was abused by her father and maybe even her mother. But why does she get so sensitive about the hate comments, our second ML's in particular? Were her parents trying to kill her? Who knows.
Cute drama but it's SO FREAKING REPETITIVE. Every single episode has the same plot-- ML and FL are supposed to be separated, so they try, but still make it obvious they can't. And then the ML basically follows her along like a puppy which was cute in the beginning but now it's becoming so redundant and boring. Honestly the second leads are more interesting, with an actual relationship dynamic. Our leads fall so so short.
Thank you, and I hope you recover from the ending lol

The older brother is such a scene stealer, I love him and his wife. The only entertaining part of this drama imo hahaha give them more scenes!

Anything else to discuss?
