If you watched the special episode they actually show it :) They probably know the audience might have forgotten the significance! I was so glad because I can't read Chinese and the subs don't work for written characters.
it was alright, didn't really like the ML and FL. the only reason I watched through the whole thing was because…
I'm surprised nobody has contradicted your claims hahaha. I disagree with your statement (I loved BOTH<3), but it is 100% understandable. I do agree with your statement on the brother though-- his relationship with SangZhi was so enviable, and the actor portrayed the older brother type really well. The only time he kind of broke character was when he was supposed to be angry at them but SangZhi was acting cute so he was trying to hide his smile. I hope to see all of them together in another project :D
I'm on ep17 now, tbh it didn't capture my interest as much as I hope to. I find myself searching and looking at…
Hahaha thank you for the respectful opinion. While I disagree and think he fit this role so well and couldn't help admire his face the whole time, I totally understand. A lot of dramas have mixed reviews regarding the cast and I know there were times when I really did not like the leads contrary to everyone else. It sure is a matter of preference-- it could be how you picture the character specifically, or if you like your MLs to fit your ideal type, etc. Anyways, I do hope it gets better for you. If not, it just wasn't meant for you. It happens to all of us.
Hi I just want to ask if Sang zhi is a strong female lead. like is she strong and can fight back like she knows…
Yeah I was slightly bothered by how she depicted her immature young self, but it does get a lot better as she moves on to college :) And even young, she was cute and innocent.
How many days is it after this show finished and I still canβt move on so I come here every 5 minutes? π₯²
What I do is distract myself with other great projects and then rewatch it when I forget some of it. But I feel like the forgetting part will take quite a while for me this time π’
I felt a bit uncomfortable with the interaction between 8th grade Sang Zhi and ML. Of course girls her age have…
You know there was quite a big controversy after someone critiques showing a minor develop romantic feelings towards an adult :/ I think it died down but still, when I read the post I was annoyed
does anyone else get nervous before watching a drama they have been greatly anticipating for forever? I love Lu…
There's so much I want to say, but I know you probably have enough expectations so... make sure to leave a comment on how you like it so far! I want to hear your thoughts!!!
I agree, Chinese actresses must have so much competition with their huge population and all that they have to…
The international platform for Korean dramas is actually a lot higher than Chinese dramas actually. Netflix has expanded a lot, making them more accessible, but Kdramas have always been far more popular and still are. I don't think there's a single Chinese drama that is solely popular here (America), whereas I can name a lot of Korean dramas that are well known here and even get remade into American shows because of the great storyline/plot. As for the award ceremony I'm not sure what you mean exactly because I haven't really watched it or heard about it, but the whole nomination thing you are saying seems to be just that-- nominations. Part of it should be due to the fact that there are so many more Cdramas in terms of numbers. But in terms of popularity and quality I'd say Kdramas for sure are superior. I agree with you in how some stories are cliche and many have become webtoon-based, but in terms of an original story that's just really rare in all countries' media. It's interesting how you have a great sense of pride for China, and I noticed that's quite prevalent in Cdramas-- all that talk about "doing this for my country" or "winning to show the world how powerful China is." From my POV it's very amusing how socialist and exaggerated it all sounds, but then again I'm from a liberal part of the world so I don't deny my bias in terms of a political standing. I like to keep an objective viewpoint. Nonetheless, I'm still an avid fan of both Korean and Chinese dramas-- even trying out some Thai ones! I just don't tolerate propaganda (to sound severe) or misinformation on any degree. It's safest to steer from a subjective perspective, right?
She's BEAUTIFUL (remind me so much of LiuYifei!!) but honestly, I do not believe she was born in 1999. I'm not saying she looks old but she definitely looks at least 5 years older. Currently love her Fireworks drama, and her character is unique so it has me hooked. I had to look her up and saw her age and firmly believe she is lying about her age-- maybe it's her company, and I know lying about your age is very very common in the Asian (mainly Chinese) industry even though it has decreased over the years. But of course I could be wrong and she just looks oldER for her age. lol just a thought. that I strongly believe in atm. hahaha
what a wonderfull careerstarted at young age 2018 started role in drama now 2023, 19 drama on her cv korean cannot…
I agree, Chinese actresses must have so much competition with their huge population and all that they have to constantly work on project after project to keep their popularity up. I honestly don't know how some actresses always have a new drama coming out-- and costume dramas which take FOREVER to film too!
