so i know the romance was hot and intense, but i never watched it bc i was spoiled of the ending. i was wondering if there are any dramas similar in terms of the male-female relationship... idc if they have hardships but the way the two ml couldn't keep themselves away from each other was quite different from other dramas these days. any suggestions? i've watched A LOT but don't think any match what im looking for quite correctly...

Rlly? I thought kisskh got their subs off mkvdrama bc the link is sometimes on the screen in very small font. But anyways, it’s still a great disappointment hahaha

so far so good.. im getting a foreshadowing of him becoming less powerful as she grows on him because they ALWAYS make the mean character unbelievably strong and then the nice ones are weak. I was obsessed when they show him stealing her to the cangyan sea and he legit brings armageddon or something on shuiyuitan. he better be that strong throughout if he wants to protect his girl. lol..

i second love like the galaxy. two parts, ignore the bad reviews (most are positive anyways), and fall in love with leo wu. he was even more amazing in The Long Ballad, in my opinion. so watch both! hahaha.
both love like the galaxy and long ballad have good emperors which is SUCH a huge plus, because i absolutely despise when the emperor is evil or mean. like in this one right now. im watching it and changheng's brother (not emperor but some sort of ruler right) is such a pain to watch.
Ashes of Love also really really good, same level as eternal love i would say in terms of how good it was. esp if you like yangzi or deng lun. i was introduced to luo yunxi, who i didn't like but grew to appreciate from his other works.
honestly, so many options HAHA
love and redemption, i watched for chengyi, but i agree with the bore in some episodes. i watched him in immortal samsara right after and also loved that.
and eternal love is good! i get what you mean by "over the top' but yangmi was amazing, and dilraba and ven gao's love story for me was 100000x better in this than pillowbook, even though they were the second leads.

what's it supposed to be like based on crouton? why did the release dates change??

when we got an extra episode last week i was super excited. but to see that so far this week there are no episodes subbed... ofc there's no such thing as free in life lol. but seriously... anyone know why

have you watched their live performance of the end credit song they sing together? pretty sure it isnt live vocals but its cute to see them on stage together

i think she means when they refer to the "audience" and "main couple" as if they are in the audience's perspective sometimes... right? i think they also reference her as a "fairy" one time and then him as something from his previous work too (i forget).

RLLY? he's sweet... ik they dont rlly show it but when professor zhuang was gone it was literally for a whole year, or close to a year. that means while she was trying to get over him, lujian was the one who stayed by her side. it's not like he took advantage of her while she was heartbroken. he stayed a healthy distance away, bringing her breakfast every now and then. it's sweet i think. even though im team main couple, he's cute too.

i dont recognize this voice... but tbh most male dubbed voices sound the same to me. i can only recognize the one who voiced donghua dijun is the same for yingyuan in immortal samsara right? i think i read a comment confirming why the voice was so familiar.
and i did not know ashile sun was dubbed by someone else wth :( i understand dubbing in this drama bc dylan has such a strong and high pitched voice but i dont like it when they dub for actors who have great voices.

YES i didnt watch it but i love when his hair is short and styled. super chic. i only watched meteor garden bc i watched the korean one and wanted to compare but i agree i didnt like it at all lol i think thats why im not a fan of dylan or shenyue hahaha

i would say some episodes 50/50 but honestly it's not that bad... for me, who skips through their scenes lol. don't give this up though it's still rlly worth it!

dylan was okay in meteor garden and i havent watched anything of his since.. hopefully this one changes my opinion.
i also love xu kai but i really really dont think he matches the hair in ALP and just long hair in general 😂 but i loved him in falling into your smile.
and yangyang i feel like everybody is obsessed with him hahaha
