i didn't finish yet! i got covid so i was quarantining and didn't get around to watching it, but i'm resuming now. just 2-3 episodes left... but do ppl have mixed reviews about the ending ..?

i'm over halfway done, and all i can say is the balance of the overall genre is perfect. there's the perfect amount of humor, sadness, romance, crime, etc. just when your eyes are about to swell up from crying too much, a comedic scene relieves the audience of the stress and just overall makes you feel a plethora of emotions (in a good way).

ohh makes sense. i saw 18 episodes on kisskh but didn't realize they would have no subs. sad, i like the female lead and was going to give it a try. sadly, i don't speak mandarin :'(

i also came to watch it after seeing the female in fall in love. i really enjoy it so far. there's a small issue that im not looking forward to but know will happen bc of the trailers, but so far it's not too heavy and really cute. so far, no romance except the typical "i like you but im too cool to say anything so ill just act like i dont care" as of ep 13

yeah i know, it's based off my preference of the actors in real life lol

idk why i never watched this. i think this was in the back of my mind, one of those watch-soon type of dramas... but i was searching for something good bc i have nothing to watch while i wait for subs from cdramas. but man im on ep 2 and it already got me HOOKEd. i usually don't like the inception-type storyline bc it's never executed properly and just gives me a headache, but this is going so well so far. i have high hopes for the rest 🤭

the thing is, 99% of the korean drama audience watch dramas for the romance. unless it's an outright comedy or thriller/crime, some sort of romance will be expected and actually implemented into the drama.

i said this before the drama even started, but i'm team second male lead. oddly enough, this drama was a drop for me (probably because of my preference in the main couple lol). i just saw it's ending tomorrow, so i wanted to see the mixed reactions of everyone who luckily will get the couple pairing they want 😪

i didnt read the novel but i heard some really CRAZY spoilers about what happens in the end. but then others were saying that's not gonna happen so i have a feeling they're going to change it up... since the audience obviously wouldn't want certain things happening you know?

so basically we were robbed of 3 episodes :( last week was out of respect, which is understandable but those who don't understand why today's was delayed-- usually when there are big events like sports or other special entertainment circumstances, broadcasting stations just don't air episodes bc the ratings are inevitably going to be lower. So they choose not to air to save face and money basically. Nothing wrong with that, imo, but us fans definitely get riled up hahah

SO not looking forward to the mom being against their relationship. she's too nosy to begin with, but moms who interfere in the relationships of their children is something i never want to see in dramas.

I was gonna say WOAH but then I looked it up and he's only a year younger than she is. She's 1999, he's 2000. They look young but not THAT young lol
