so quick question. im only on ep 3, but after she put her memories into her ring bc she knew they would try to erase hers, she doesn't have those memories with her until the memories in the ring accidentally come back to her right? so when she's trying to steal the hormone from him, she's doing this based on her fake memories bc she doesn't have access to the real memories, correct?

omg his smile in ep 6 when yumeiren had a bucket on her head 🤭 his SMILE is everything ❤️ im melting. not only did it seem like a real smile, but it also shows he's more comfortable around her when she's acting like her goofy self rather than trying hard to make a move on him. it's so cute, i keep rewatching it hahah

when they mentioned tong nian/han shangyan & KK team 😂 loving these references

I love the pace of the drama. If it’s too slow or too fast it gets under/overwhelming but I really like how each episode gives you just enough to keep you intrigued and waiting for the next episode. Also esther’s character is adorable.

Haha okay that makes the most sense. I absolutely love when actors use their own voices but for the dubbed voices, I was always curious if the voice actors ever get any recognition. Just a side thought lol. Ty for the reply^^

is the whole cast using their own voices? how do you even know if it's dubbed by someone else (assuming you don't know how they talk irl-- obviously esther is using her own, but the ml etc.)

OMG IKR this is exactly why i no longer look at the beginning and end credits where they basically spoil all the good parts of the drama. i dont want to get my hopes up haha

NOVEMBER? oh man. i remember there was a fan who had his own website where he would literally make his own eng subs for dramas bc the official release was too slow. sadly, he doesn't post anymore but i remember i used his subs for the drama Begin Again.

i agree, i actually prefer both leads in modern dramas. even though they are both beautiful in xianxia, modern brings out more of their chic charisma along with a certain type of comedic sense...

something i always look at when watching dramas is the product placement, such as phones the characters use. it's just a habit, even when the phones aren't even ppl. but as i watched ep 2 i saw the ml using an older iphone fit for the 2018 time period. it just caught my eye hahah

idk why everyone always has something to say about her voice. i honestly love how in all her dramas, her voice isn't dubbed (except by her own). im not a fan of dubbed voices, even if the original actors' voices don't match the character. i'd rather have them speak in the voice i know from their interviews than someone else's.

you're so lucky. but mandarin is too hard to learn. ive been watching cdramas for years and yeah i can understand some commons sayings now but man i wish i didnt need subs.
