okay honestly me too. i expected something between DFQC and Chidi woman just because they were supposed to be the main enemies... but then it was kinda downplayed with her own problems. i think it was such an easy watch considering it's the typical god/immortal/devil storyline but they didn't really have a lot of the big physical conflicts, like you said. the sacrifice on esther's part was predictable, as was dylan's near the end, but im surprised there wasn't more regarding her background, the relationship of dairy danyin&jieli&the dad (wth happened to him lol), etc. some characters died way too easily, and some conflicts were either resolved too quickly or didn't play out in the way it should have. maybe bc it's considered short with the 36 episodes and they didn't want to put too much in there. but regardless, this drama was a great one! im glad i watched it :)

HAHAH that's what im afraid of. dropping a drama always makes me feel like i wasted time starting it in the first place, so i usually don't watch something unless i'm convinced i can finish it
