i second love like the galaxy. two parts, ignore the bad reviews (most are positive anyways), and fall in love…
so after watching LLAG i have to say even though we never got our kiss scene between leo and dilraba, TLB lingered on me so much longer after watching the last episode. His character is really similar in both but i think i personally prefer TLB because he's more upfront with his feelings for her. also dilraba goes through so much more than lusi does in LLAG so to see her grow from rock bottom even without a man by her side is heartwarming. and when leo eventually does come to play an important person in her life, she learns to share her burden rather than doing everything by herself for once. immortal samsara... part 1 was divine. her sacrifice for him without wanting anything in return was so precious, but it was even better because chengyi KNEW she was the one who did everything for her but pretended not to. i personally did not enjoy part 2 esp because i dont like his mortal self (i veery rarely like the mortal selves these gods have to experience in their stupid trials). with yangmi eternal love, i love when susu (that's her mortal name right, i dont remember haha) jumps off and mark suffers for once. hahaha i loved it sm bc he deserved to feel what she's been going through. lowkey wish he suffered forever and yangmi found someone else lol but i loved dilraba's story in this first eternal love also.
Omg yasss…and he was so hot with those firey blue eyes. Looking like a Chinese Ken Barbie doll super hero 🤣😍🥰
I'm honestly always surprised by the level of professionalism some actors have. The intensity of some scenes requires getting into character which sounds easy but must be incredibly difficult, and so a lot of actors who are big really deserve the love they receive because the audience in a way learns to appreciate their efforts playing different characters. And for Dylan, I agree with him stepping up in terms of his acting. You can tell he was able to form this deep connection with this character, who has a character so different from his real off-camera personality. Being an actor must be challenging but also greatly rewarding, because one person can essentially live different lives depending on the types of various characters they play. That being said it's hilarious when I watch the BTS and I hear his real voice 😂
ik... it's been mediocre since the middle episodes bc the scenes we're all waiting for are either deleted or just…
lmao it's the scenes here and there that make it fun. i think that's why we all went crazy with the ep 20 kiss, because it was so unexpected given his normal character hahaha. no wonder they cut it out lol
The main leads haven't even started dating yet (till 26th ep, further eps aren't released yet)We can't basically…
HAHAHA so up to ep 26, the current eng subs, there has been a few instances where they're clearly not normal neighbors, but they're not yet in a formal relationship. the girl has been chasing him since the beginning for alternative reasons but then started to develop real feelings, but he never reciprocated them and now she is basically in the stage of ignoring him while he's doing the chasing. it's quite satisfying hahaha. but they did have a kiss scene in ep 20 i think, which the editors actually cut out so you have to search for it separately if you want to see it... it's rlly intense but they decided to aggravate fans even more and get rid of it altogether. even though they don't get together, it's still worth the watch bc it's obvious the male lead likes her too but just doesn't say anything because of his reserved character.
All this waiting for subtitles is making me lose interest in this drama. Up through episode 27 wasn’t that great…
ik... it's been mediocre since the middle episodes bc the scenes we're all waiting for are either deleted or just not there :( and to not have subs at the already-slow schedule even after the series finishes airing is such a disappointment :( idk why but i thought you didnt need subtitles... hhaha im so jealous of those who can watch the raw episodes. now i know how ppl feel waiting for eng subs on korean dramas
so i know the romance was hot and intense, but i never watched it bc i was spoiled of the ending. i was wondering if there are any dramas similar in terms of the male-female relationship... idc if they have hardships but the way the two ml couldn't keep themselves away from each other was quite different from other dramas these days. any suggestions? i've watched A LOT but don't think any match what im looking for quite correctly...
Kisskh spoils me lol. I always can be patiently waiting on crouton yt since it has definite schedule. It was a…
Rlly? I thought kisskh got their subs off mkvdrama bc the link is sometimes on the screen in very small font. But anyways, it’s still a great disappointment hahaha

sigh😪 its kinda unbelievable if it was a mistake because they're not a small unknown platform, you know? why not clarify if it was, or just clarify in general from the start. im currently just resorting to other dramas for now hahhaa
so far so good.. im getting a foreshadowing of him becoming less powerful as she grows on him because they ALWAYS make the mean character unbelievably strong and then the nice ones are weak. I was obsessed when they show him stealing her to the cangyan sea and he legit brings armageddon or something on shuiyuitan. he better be that strong throughout if he wants to protect his girl. lol..
Xanxia fans I am looking for recommendations for similar something similar. I have not watched too many of this…
i second love like the galaxy. two parts, ignore the bad reviews (most are positive anyways), and fall in love with leo wu. he was even more amazing in The Long Ballad, in my opinion. so watch both! hahaha. both love like the galaxy and long ballad have good emperors which is SUCH a huge plus, because i absolutely despise when the emperor is evil or mean. like in this one right now. im watching it and changheng's brother (not emperor but some sort of ruler right) is such a pain to watch. Ashes of Love also really really good, same level as eternal love i would say in terms of how good it was. esp if you like yangzi or deng lun. i was introduced to luo yunxi, who i didn't like but grew to appreciate from his other works. honestly, so many options HAHA love and redemption, i watched for chengyi, but i agree with the bore in some episodes. i watched him in immortal samsara right after and also loved that. and eternal love is good! i get what you mean by "over the top' but yangmi was amazing, and dilraba and ven gao's love story for me was 100000x better in this than pillowbook, even though they were the second leads.
when we got an extra episode last week i was super excited. but to see that so far this week there are no episodes subbed... ofc there's no such thing as free in life lol. but seriously... anyone know why
Just finished this. I think I have the most unpopular opinion. I watched this for Li Jiaqi more than any of the…
hahaha the one in a million rare supporter. i also don't get the haters. even though i mostly skip through the second couple, it's not bc i HATE them it's just bc i don't really appreciate his style of approaching her AND i just want to watch the main couple bc their romance is slow lol
While I wait for the new subbed episodes, came here just to comment on how beautiful the OST of the beginning…
have you watched their live performance of the end credit song they sing together? pretty sure it isnt live vocals but its cute to see them on stage together
Hidden references? would you mind to explain, please and than you
i think she means when they refer to the "audience" and "main couple" as if they are in the audience's perspective sometimes... right? i think they also reference her as a "fairy" one time and then him as something from his previous work too (i forget).
is it only me finding that lv jian guy annoying...
RLLY? he's sweet... ik they dont rlly show it but when professor zhuang was gone it was literally for a whole year, or close to a year. that means while she was trying to get over him, lujian was the one who stayed by her side. it's not like he took advantage of her while she was heartbroken. he stayed a healthy distance away, bringing her breakfast every now and then. it's sweet i think. even though im team main couple, he's cute too.
