Loved the high school part, and honestly think it was better than most other high school-themed dramas. But when they get into college, I hate how clingy she is and makes all these decisions just for him. like girl, make decisions for yourself. i'm not done with the drama yet, so hopefully that part changes. Currently see this overall as a 7.5/10.

okay haha i was assuming you understood mandarin and would be able to watch all the episodes. but dang that's a bummer..

im only on 13 bc of eng subs so i have no idea what you're talking about, but it sounds like the screentime issue gets even worse in the recent episodes... which is crazy bc even where im at right now it's 50/50... i was really angry but deecided to calm down and just treat each episode as 20 minutes by only watching the ML parts.

hahaha i love when dramas air WHILE they are filming, which i think is unheard of in china bc of the guidelines they have to pass. but in korea, most dramas used to air while filming so it felt more REAL if that makes sense... but these days they prefilm everything, or leave it until the last last part of filming.

very understandable haha i hate her too. but i love a good antagonist, it makes it that much more satisfying when they lose in the end 😅

can't believe cdramas take so long to air after they finish filming. makes me wonder how much time has passed since the characters last saw each other whenever they meet up for the press/promotion, etc. just me? lol

idk why this is marked spoiler haha but the subs for this drama are pretty normal schedule. other dramas release one a day for 4-5 days a week so it's really excruciatingly slow.

i didnt watch kings woman, even though i love both leads, because of the ending which was ruined for me before i even started watching. love your profile pic btw i just finished immortal samsara a few days ago 🤭

i first saw him in love 020, pretty lihuizhen, and eternal love, where he wasn't the main lead so sadly doesn't get the girl, but he's so handsom in modern dramas. i actually think he looks better with the short hair/modern attire. some ML are better as traditional characters like vengao and chengyi, even denglun sometimes. but binbin is way better without the long hair. i think it's because of his head shape/size that doesn't really look nice when they put a wig on, etc.
