The very best drama I've seen in a long time.

Thanks for the video MDL. It is something new and different. I think I've watched 12 of the 20 featured. None of them are what I would consider masterpieces but all of them were enjoyable. People like what they like. And I think that for most KDrama watchers these would be an easy introduction into JDrama.

I thought he was truly excellent in Ushijima the Loan Shark. He played a very believable scumbag.
Did he himself categorize calligraphy as a feat? I like calligraphy too and if so, I get it.

Wow, what a fantastic list. Kudos to TimiZero and OldAnimeLady for a lot of hard work. I myself do not focus on the current season of dramas in general. I'm a drama butterfly that flits and sips whatever seems appealing. But I did manage to watch I Don't Love You Yet, Afro Tanaka and Takane to Hana and enjoyed them all.
Also, I would like to compliment the selection of the seasonal photos, they are beautiful indeed.

There are several dramas that pique my interest, but there are only so many hours in the day. So I plan to watch You and I on the G-String and Ore no Hanashi wa Nagai.

Kakegurui is superb. I'm surprised you didn't mention the opening by Reverse. Ichi ka bachi ka sets the tone of glorious craziness for the live action. These gems are the only reason I bother keeping my Netflix subscription .

You are very kind OldAnimeLady. And you are right that the general public can really only guess. But there are probably numerous people who did know and as long as the money kept flowing, they didn't care. That is really the worst, most evil thing.
