Just finished the drama and i really loved the older cast. I think they did a really good job. Now, about Long Qing, i decided to skip all his scenes because honestly i just felt they were unnecessary. Just fillers to prolong the drama. He was given way too much screen time. I personally loved Sang Sang. She was my favourite charater in the drama. Now am off to read the book because 2020 is too far away and am just impatient. I want to know how it all ends.
I mean I'm one of those people that think that the drama has some of those cringey parts and that the drama is…
Your views are absolutely spot on. I feel like the writters lost their way and didn't know how to conjure the story in a better way. I am so dissapointed. I love Park Seo Joon but i feel like his charater was really restricted and confused too! I mean seriously, if Lee Yeong Joon made a promise to marry Kim Mi Soo when they were young, and even went as far as hiring her to work under him directly, why wouldn't he know he liked her? This show just had too many loopholes. It's a huge miss for me.
"In Africa there are spiders as big as humans....." Ok, i'm from Africa and I am yet to see such spiders. I actually found this statement made by young Lee Yeong Joon offensive for some reason. Africa has alot to offer, not just jungles and wild animals. I think the script writters needed to be sensitive to the fact that international audiences watch Kdramas too. Well apart from that, I think the drama started off well but then got sort of boring towards the end. That is from episode 11. Basically, the story is nothing exciting. I honestly feel this drama is highly overrated.
This is such an awesome drama. I think its highly underrated. If you are debating whether to watch this, just take my word for it and check it out. The acting is just superb and the story will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The OST is great too. It matches the theme of the story. No regrets here!
