in the second episode he said he don't like her because she treated his ex boyfriends bad and embarrassed them. he decide to say yes to the marriage proposal because that weird guy who keep bothering him was going to ask to her announcement and he didn't like that. So for now nothing about him being a foster also he lived with his grandma so I'm not sure.
This two episodes were a little slow and at times the editing was weird but things are moving forward. Is interesting to see how the relationship between the judge and his son seems non existent but he is basically selling his soul to the devil to protect Ho Young.
And, you know, he is being successful in one thing: the attention of Kang Heon is not on his son so I guess that is a win.
Still everything is a big mess and I can smell the tragic ending.

Lee Gun's life wasn't indirectly ruined because of him it was all the parents they were children. the parents chose to leave him behind when he could play, that can't be Shin fault. I also don't believe he really push him on that bridge but this is just speculation from my part. The way hecis that frantic looking for the diary is because he believes he could regain his memories if he read it and wants to avoid that. Shin is not a Saint of course, none of them are, but, for me is not as big of a villain.

Shin didn't do anything to gun's life, they were kids. The parents were the ones that change one kid for the other when the first couldn't do what they wanted him to do. Shin is in a situation he can't really handle and, when he is grow up enough to maybe do something, his bond with his brother is lost and he is lost too. That is why he have mental problems and OCD.
Like I said, yes is selfish he is trying to go after Yu Jeon when he saw his brother like her but that is his real flaw, not the rest.

It must be me but reading the comments I feel that I'm watching a different drama, I don't understand this hate for FL and SML:
Ju Yeon: We know already from her that she is not a good psychiatrist for the patients. She have trauma for what happened to her father so she keep herself distant from people so as not to let her emotions win.that is the reason why she is in a lab. In one of the last episode she got aware of this and it is in a path of changing because she knows it is not good. Lee Gun is her patient so she acted the same way to him to not get attached. But Gun is different because she know the procedure they did on him needs someone to be by his side. She also got aware of this and that is why she went to work with him. In every episode she is improving. it is bad that she is lying to him? absolutely and is something that is going to bite her in the ass later. But she will learn from this too. The reason she treat Lee Shin good is because he is not her regular patient so she is not afraid to get close. She didn't think she was going to see him that much. She is a flawed character learning and I like her for it.
Lee Shin: He is so clearly not the villain here. you can see how the guilt is eating him up every single moment. His brother lost everything and it was his fault. The mother treat him as a substitute and trophy to parade around. His brother got in a big depression and he didn't know what to do and lost the bond they had. I don't even think he is that happy being a tennis player. He didn't push Gun, probably they fight and he fell so Shin save him. The reasons he wanted the ereased memories is because he is afraid his brother will hate him more because he saw him kissing Sae Yan. the reasons why he is so fixated on Ju Yeon is because she is the only person that suddenly cares about him and actually listen to him. he is messing up? yes, because he can see his brother likes her. But I feel he just wants something for himself side the rest was imposse since he was little. All of us can be selfish at times, is human nature. Also I'm pretty sure he actually liked Sae Yan because in one episode he said the reasons he broke up was because the father called him and threatened him and he is the mob people.
So really idk. Even when Lee Gun is the big victim here I feel the 4 are very flawed characters and the 4 deserves a chance.

We saw he is a womanizer but I don't think he is the cheating kind. He also don't want to because he doesn't want to be like his father and make the life of a woman as misery as his own mother. The scene when we get to know the patient's son was his father was strong and he actually deal with it in a very calm manner. this ML is an honest one, he doesn't keep things to himself and have his ideas clear ( seems from the preview that he is not going to play with Gang Hun at all, he is going to ask him directly about his feelings for So Jin).I understand her too. She just got hurt one too many times and she just need to be sure. Science can't fail her because that doesn't change. Still, even when she tried, I think her attraction for Yeon U is bigger than what she wants to admit. I love her too because she is smart and trying her best. She is honest too because she knew she had to talk to him in person and went to the park. for real that this couple is giving me everything I want and more 😍😍😍😍
omg the first episode was super fun, love it! the ML wig 🤣🤣🤣🤣. But really it is a great start. I was pretty surprised when they were talking so freely about sex, never seems something like that before on a drama.

This for me implied that it what was happening to Great but he didn't do anything we saw ( the woman in the car accident die, tongkla's brother too and so on) but that doesn't make sense because he wouldn't meet Tyme if it wasn't because the woman at the started didn't die. soo I'm super confused lol. I guess will see in next episodes.
