Other ways to help people

Again i will try not to make too much spoilers and also not to talk that much but really i got exited with things i love :).

Plot: This season is not really the same, revenge got them in big problems and it wasn't really working so this time they just help people without it. The stickers change their message but our team keeps being a strong one (Even when Sung Chul tried to make them go away).

This makes all the diference. It is not as dark as the first season, we get much more humor but still see how people can be the worst. Special mention gets the case with the kids, wich is heartbreaking even thinking about people actually doing that just for money.

We also get a villain arc during all the season something i really like and think was well developed since the villain have his own sad backstory. It makes you question destiny, how different life will be if things happen any other way (In this case, we see On Ha Joon asking if things will be different if he meet the crew before).

Kudos to Shin Jae Ha who was great in his performance.

Characters: This season Kim Do Gi is clearly their leader. Felt like Sung Chul got to touched by his mistake in thinking he got Baek controlled so he is listening to Do Gi more.

Mr. Park and Mr. Choi are in a quest to protect Do Gi at all cost (As if he needs it lol) so we get to see them around more than the first season. I love them because they're hilarous. That first episode when they travel all the way to Vietnam to help him, got lost, Do Gi end up finding them on the road (Mr. park thinking he is a delusion because he is that hungry lol) and getting them food while they keep saying how they're there to help him is peak comedy. Do Gi soft looks is also love, how he really see them as family (He is even happy when both of them get in prision in the last eps to help him too)

Do Gi and Ahn Go Eun also have more screen time toguether and is pretty obvious she have feelings for him. If this is going to go somewhere i don't know but i wouldn't mind. Is not a romance show but they're good together. Also i like to see her beat some ass thanks to her police training.

Hightlights: The biggest hightlight for me this season is Lee Je Hoon brilliant performance. How he change characters in a manner of seconds is fascinating to watch. also, as i already said, i loved On Ha Joon arc even when is was pretty obvious he was fishy since the start.

Negatives: Mostly there is this one thing from the final ep that irks me a lot and is how the priest knows about Do Gi trigger with the whistle? He just saw them in a drawer and got his own conclusions? That was weird.

Also the advertising was a little cringe at times but nothing awful.

All in all i love it so bring it season 3!!!!

Again shout out to Wang Tao Chi and Madam Li we need them in season 3 too ;).

"I hope that life give you a lot of false alarms and fangs of fortune"

"But after he left, i finally understood. It was the base color of his soul, like a broken song, vast, distant and desolate. I used to be like him, looking at a small pool of water that only reflected a lamp, the moon and my shallow hatred. I always forgot that he lived for 30.000 years while i only live for 30 years. In his eyes, i must have look like a child, waving my fist angrily in the air. Zhao Yuanzhou, i'll definitely find the shred of your soul that i extracted myself. I'll search every mountain and sea both in the mortal world and the Wilderness"- Zhuo Yichen ended his journey looking all over the world for Zhao Yuanzhou's soul and that is how we also ended the drama (As Li Susu did trying to find Tantai Jin's soul in "Till the end of the moon").

There is so much i want to say about this drama. So i will start apologizing because this is going to be long lol.

I'm going to talk first about the three negative point i got for this drama. Very little because i really love it:

-It is true that the editing in some scenes was weird. There is this one scene where Wen Xiao was going to hug Zhuo Yichen that suddenly it got cut. But it was more evident when we got Bai Jui's back and we didn't see him greet any of them besides his mom, we see him already talking to them like days have passed which created some disconnect with the viewer in a very important close arc (Bai Jui no longer possed by Li Lun).

-Wen Xiao: This character was so very badly written. It is said a lot about how little she did in all the drama that she didn't appeared one single time in episode 33, the one before last. I was able to not be bothered a lot by it because all the other character were really well developed and i was caugh up in the rest of the relationships but it is always sad to see this kind of FL.

-I didn't found really any plot holes but i don't think i fully get what happened with the second Fei. It can not be him, because he died on episode 13 and he did it taking out his inner core so no chance to be back. So i guess this back a demonic human taking in his appereance but, hor it was his blood able to give the plague, like Fei's did? so i'm a little confused with this point but nothing too big.

Let's get on the good parts!!!:

-Ying Lei and Bei Jui: They started being the comedic relief and end up being the unseen heros. Ying Lei (Using his own free will, the main theme of this drama) decided to die yo save Bei Jui and Bei Jui did the same to save his own hero, Zhuo Yichen. We got also good backround stories from both of them, so both their deads were completely heartbreaking.

-Pei Si Jing: She is prove that this creator can make a good female character. She was fierce and badass and queen all the drama to end up being as the leader of the Hunting Demons Bureau. Her story was paintful, and all her interacctions with her brother get you to the soul, but she make her own choice too: She will keep fighting for the people, to help those who can't help themselves. She also give us one of the best fighting scene in the latest episiodes, holding more like her own against his former partner, Zhen Mei. ABSOLUTE QUEEN.

-Li Lun: I will say i consider him the character with the best development of all the drama. He was the villain (And a charismatic one at that) but, the more you know about his story, the more we could see he was not as bad as we though. He was someone broken, who saw how his partner in life choose humans before him and also lost his freedom. So, on his own free will, decide his rage to guide him. But, after all what said and done, he got the best redemption arc in the story of redemption arcs: He stop his much needed cultivation to protect Zhuo Yichen and Zhao Yuanzhou and fight with them side by side. When he saw they were all going to die, he decided to him all his demonic energy to them both (half/half) and make himself the target of Wen Zhongyou so Zhuo Yichen could kill him. When he gives the "truth eye" to Yichen and said "This was never mine in the first place. Now is yours" in my mind there was an echo of his voice saying "and him too".

-Zhou Yichen: What a fantastic character. Like i read long ago in another post he really is like Lan Zhan from "The untamed": Sheltered, unable to lie and hard to socialize with others but also a sword master and loyal to boot. His journey is probably the hardest one. Being able to understand the killer of his family, to change his black and white mindset and still being the hero the world needs. His change from human to demon give him a whole different view of things and he took it in stride with his soulmate by his side. I love, love, love him hard.

-Zhao Yuanzhou: Our dearest monkey ML demon. You know, he is probably the one that had less develoment between them. He already love humanity so much he was able to choose them before his partner in life. Even when he was blame and accused of things that happened out of his control, he still went to meet the people that hate him the most to be able to save the mortal world. He gives his all, fights tooth and nail and, in the journey, found friends and his soulmate. And he still give his life for the greater good. As a true hero will do. Fantastic ML.

-Zhou Yichen & Zhao Yuanzhou: Their relationship was the best point of the drama for me. Like a said before, a bond than trascent even the romantic meaning: Together by a blood feud that shape itself in friendships and doubts, that change completely with Yichen transformation and his completely loyalty to the great demon. The last fight was epic for a lot of reasons but the understanding between them was the most important one. That spell that give Yichen wings (This was so awesome, i can't), Yichen giving Zhao Yuanzhou all his demonic energy to kill the villain, that moment of anguish and doubt because he through he will kill him too. But, in the end, both did it. Both killed the other if that means to save the world even when their souls were breaking inside. What makes their story even greater is the parallels with the ancestors, Binyi and Ying Long. Ying Long end up being a star and Zhao Yuangzhou end up being rain. It is all amazing and beautiful and i'm grateful to have enjoy this.

So final throughts: The main theme of the drama it what moves it from episode 1 till episode 34: Free will. No matter what you are, human, demon, god, semi god, you have the right to choose your own path to get exactly to what you want to be (As our favorite ML demon will say). And we see this in all the Main leads stories but also in the supporting stories. Everything that happened is because we have free will and we used it and that is important. We can have regrets but we can fix those. There is always time (As our sword master will say).

I will recommend it? Yes. It is beautiful, it is funny, it is heartbreaking, it is exciting. It is so worth the watch.

Stubborn disciples are stubborn

I'm so happy because I absolutely love this one. From the first episode it didn't let me down and it was good till the end.

The plot was pretty consistent and engaging, it ties the beginning with the end since the main villain is around from the start but we don't know until later. The drama keep showing us different characters that could be the villain and that makes it really interesting.

Between this "villains" I have to talk about my favorite and another discovery in the actors department from me: Crown Prince Su Yu. He was absolutely unhinged and obssesed with Mu Quingge to an unhealthy point but there was something inside him that could make him different, better. I like how this character developed and how, till the end, we don't know exactly where he stands. A round of applause for Chen Xin Hai because he is absolutely amazing in his performance. Brilliant.

Another great point is that Ranran is powerful and brave all the drama and Shui is very gray all the drama. Different degrees of powerful for Ranran and different degrees of gray for Shui depending the time but it is there. It keeps the essence of the characters from beginning to finish.

The FL, Ranran, is everything a FL should be. I Adore her. Her personality, her power, how brave she is. I was very happy that I still like her after meeting her past life Mu Quingge because they really are two sides of the same coin. Julia Xiang is amazing. What I fantastic actress, I'm super glad to discover her.

The CGI was probably the best I saw in a xianxia but I still didn't watch that much so maybe I'm biased 😅😅😅. There is a lot of visuals effects and are very well done. Specially the final battle is amazing and super good. I really like the customes and wigs too, specially the white one that Shui got at the start.

If I have to say something bad I will say that i didn't need that over the top happy ending, if it will end with them after defeating Dun Tian it will be great too. But I actually appreciate the weddings looks, specially the head piece on Shui was gorgeous and the cute babies at the end were worth it.

Deng wei is good here too, I still feel, acting wise, both Julia Xiang and Chen Xin Hai are better, but he was good. They also have good chemistry.

Highlights for me:

-episode 3: The scene when Mu Quingge lights a path of lanters for Shui. Is a very meaningful and important scene that will be remembered through all the drama. It is very beautiful done.

-episode 18: Drunk Shui kiss Ranran desesperate to get Mu Quingge back. This scene is heartbreaking but amazing in both their performance. So much pain and longing 🥲🥲🥲

-episode 36: Ranran reject Su Yu.Wow this scene. He barely can see and still he is pouring all his heart and soul and obsession onto her. It is absolutely amazing in both their performance but I miss a light touch of her on his face which I think will make it perfect. Still I was in awe watching.

Will I recommend it? Yes, for sure. I think is pretty good and entertaining if you like xianxias.

Talking is overrated

I have so many problems with this one. First it was the ML. No matter how you look at it Ao Rui Peng doesn't have the aura of a powerful demon Lord. I don't think he is a bad actor but this is a character that, for now, it is not for him. Let it be said that i blame the script in part too because Fan Yue was to soft of a character in two second but still, i don't think he fits in here.

And with that first point, came the second: They don't have any chemistry whatsoever. I never throught i could actually see Bai Lu not having chemistry with someone but well, here we are. They looked more than friends and not even one of their many love declarations (So many, because, why express things in different ways when you can say the same dialogue over and over right? 🙄🙄🙄) got to me. I didn't feel anything about them so the drama lost the mian point for me.

But let's get in the biggest problem of the drama, the writting. I think there is a good story hidden somewhere in here but the way they told it was a complete mess. Everything is narrated, there is nothing we see because of the action of the characters. The dialogue is also used to cover future plot holes (Like they need to let us know the divine stone won't protect Bai Shuo anymore so his master tell us why in a very long and pointless way that break the flow of the scene. When we could saw it after with a little comment).

Xianxias are normally tragic. I don't have a problem with a sad ending if it is justified (Fangs of fortune, for example, couldn't have any other ending that fits better). But the writters of this one decided that there wasn't anything more important that the Main Couple being together, seems they consider that a happy ending. So they decide to kill every single character as plot devices to get to that ending.

Bai Xu is suddenly the divinity bow that can kill Mo Li. I actually LOL with this. They discovered when she died so...if she didn't die, for whatever reason, we will never found the bow? all of them die? what kind of stupid plot twist is this? Only to condemn Fu Ling to the beginning to die, i guess to pay for sins that she isn't resposible for 😒😒😒😒

Tian Huo died because her blood could fix the arrow for the bow. I don't want to say a lot about this because i don't really remember the thing with the sword and her blood and all that (She make a lot of exposition about this point of course but i was out at this point) but really how convenient.

So we get to the final battle with the villain and, yes finally! Mo Li is a great character completely prepared for this battle, as he should be. So Chong Zhao sacrifice himself to give them a chance. Why i don't like this, i think this was actually on point for the character and a fit ending for him. But Mo Li is ready and his heart is still there, beating. I was like...ok now shoot the arrow to the heart right? problem fixed! NOP.

The writters remembered something "Didn't in xianxias one of the Main Leads died to came back later? damn, we need to fix this" So, for reason no one really knows the necessity of, Faun Yue gets the heart inside his body and that is when Bai Shuo shoot him and everything ends, with Bai Shuo alone 🤡.

If you think this is bad, let's pay attention to how Fan Yue gets back. Heaven invoques Bai Shuo to the hidden moon sea and she commments about sacrificing everyone for the greater good so Heaven said:

"Those who died for the great cause, will eventually return, in another way"

Cue Fan Yue coming back exactly as he went out 🤡🤡🤡.

It is super funny how, in the special episode, Fan Yue said that it is sad that their friends can't be at their wedding and i was like "Well, all of them are dead LOL".

Ok this was a rant, but i have to be fair and talk about the good thing this drama have: Chong Zhao/Mo Li. What a fantastic character and, yes, he was actually great developed. Chong Zhao was a morally greay character from begining to end and i love him for it. In the later episodes they keep trying (By the dialogue of the character of course lol) how righteous and good he was but he killed lots of Eternals without blinking an eye just because he was undercover. And he was possesive with Bai Shuo till he focus change to Fu Ling. Mo Li, his villain counterpart, was a great one too. A crazy and possesive villain like no other who was always two steps ahead of our heroes. In reality, the only one who almost defeat it was Chong Zhao and that was a fantastic decision from the team.

Chang Hua Sen was a discovery for me and i felt in love completely: Good acting and good visuals, what is not to love? 😍😍😍😍

Of course Bai Lu was as good as ever, specially in the emotional scenes. My mind compared the end of this one with the end of Story of kunning palace and well...she was great in both but here something was clearly missing.

Will i recommend it? No. sadly, not even Bai Lu could save this one 😢😢😢

A story that you will never forget

I discovered asian dramas this year. I saw some not romantic ones before but just in passing, between other shows. But this year i found "Alchemy of Souls" and got on Asian dramas basically full time. "Alchemy of souls" got to me so much and no other left such a great impact since (I enjoyed others of course a lot but not to this level).

And then i watched "Till the end of the moon" and i got that feeling back. What a beautiful, wonderful, amazing and heartbreaking story. It made me feel everything in just 40 episodes that pass by like 10 minutes. I love everything about it.

I talked a lot in the comments because i can't help myself when i love something this much. Here is the links to those comments so as not to repeat myself:

So final throughts on this fantastic tale: The end, for me, is sad. I know it have that hopeful component that maybe they will meet again but all the scene where SuSu have to kill him is heartbreaking. Even when is sad, i feel the end fits their characters perfectly:

-Tantai Jin was driven by his love the moment he was aware of it and confess it to Ye XiWu on his family's burial place. Since that moment all his actions are because of that love. At first it is mixed with jelaousy and other not so good feelings like that possesive side when she died. But i think he learn to get rid of those bad feelings during his time as Cang Juimin and what is left is love. Mostly for SuSu but also for humanity (Which i don't think is easy for someone that was mistreated all his life). So his actions at the end are the ultimate act of love: Self-sacrifice for the wellbeing of the rest of the world and the love of his life, Li SuSu.

-Li SuSu reminds me a lot of my all time hero, Buffy the vampire slayer. Both of them are the chosen ones and both of them have to be the strong ones and make the hard decisions. I have to say that i had a hard time at moments to understand her actions. She was clearly in love but she was also aware that Tantai could end all life if his destiny end up being fulfilled. She never forgot that. She couldn't. When she said in the last episode that she made a wish that time at the Ye house that he didn't become the Devil Lord is proof of how much she love him and how much she must really suffered. She is soo strong that her becoming a god it was just something that had to happen. She never for a moment believe that Cang Juimin was really the Devil Lord no matter what he do and still, besides all the love, besides being completely heartbroken, she did what she had to do. Because she is the chosen one for a reason.

I can't really explain how much i cry watching that scene where SuSu is about to tell him she loves him (She never did it out loud when she actually mean it) and she can't. So she just said: "I will tell you when i see you again" 💔💔💔. Not to mention the scene at the tombs of both of them and what is written "Tomb of Ye XiWu loving wife of Tantai Jin" "Tomb of Tantai Jin husband of Ye XiWu" 😭😭😭😭

So in episode 39 Tantai ask: "Will our story be know by posterity?"

Yes, their story will be with me forever ♥♥♥.

Good vs bad and other moral dilemmas

When I started watching I throught I wouldn't like this one too much. Let's be honest, the visuals in this drama are awful. The customes are simple going on ugly and the wigs (specially the one on the ML when is not tied up) are hideous.

But they deliver a very interesting story: More philosophical than other dramas I watched, it talks about the good and bad in this world. There is a clear parallel between our hero and the villain, both living the same experiences but reacting to it in a different way.

Youngzhong wanted to be good and Jin Tanjin help him to see that good. Hannv, the villain, didn't really wanted to do good and not even Taihe, a God, could get through her.

I really like the idea of the five sins described in the drama: Hypocrisy, obsession, cruelty, jealousy and ignorance.

No one in this world could really avoid all this sins so we are left trying to do our best. Youngzhong keeps trying even when at points I feel he was right in his idea of destroying the world (everyone is so awful to him, they really don't deserve him)

the fights in the last episodes were pretty good and the end was very appropriate also. They avoid the happy ending just for the sake of it and we got a more realistic one.

But there is also a lack of balance. Tanghua and Quin Lin barely have any development but, the little we saw, gave us a hint of pretty interesting stories (specially Quin Lin and his brother, there was so much you could say there).

The spirit weapons that were so important during basically all the drama were completely discarded at the end. I guess this makes sense because they weren't actually human beings but still, after everything, you get attached to them and is a complicated change of pace. I also don't particularly like that the only spirit weapon that we didn't get to meet at all was the female one 🙄🙄🙄🙄.

would I recommend it? I don't know 😅😅😅. The story is good but is lacking something.

The weight of the world in the FL shoulders

Well.... i need to rant about this one so, please bear with me. Also i'm going to talk about a MAJOR SPOILER of the last episode so don't read if you don't want to know.

The story started pretty well, very "Alice in borderland" vibe, i was enjoying it. I didn't particulary like when they where in the real world because this people were highly annoying and boundary crossing jerks (Specially the FL) but it was mostly everything on the game so all good.

The moment we know all the truth and the main mystery ends everything started to get incredible boring. Sooo boring.

For me the main leads have to complement each other. Normally the story have one main character sure but the second main is there to balance the story. For example in "The untamed" (Again with this drama woman???) we know Wei Wuxian is the main lead, we follow his story in demonic cultivation and tragedy, but Lan Zhan is his perfect counterpart as someone firm on his believes and his love to balance his story. Or the most recent "Love next door" were the main lead is Baek Seok Ryu, we follow her journey back to Korea and a diferent life, but we have Choi Seung Hyo to balance her story being someone already stable in his life and his place in the world.

In this one.... there is no balance. Everything is about the main lead, Chun Yu. She is OP in the game, finding out everything about all the game before any of them. At some point we get to know that her father help her at points but still... he could have help the ML. To balance a little. But no. Still the ML, Gao Xuan, was pretty good in reading the game (Since he is also a programmer) and they play each other pretty good in the game.

But in real life is all about her: Suddenly we get to know all the game was just about her and the rest were just casualties, coincidences. This deminish the important sacrifices and choices all team did. Also it put a incredible pressure on the character of the FL since, being everything about her, you are suppose to be on her side and like her.

I'm sorry, but i don't like her. The actress Sun Quian was incredible good on her performance of Chun Yu because this characters is unbereable. I know she is depressed because she lost her mother at a young age and it seems her father neglected her but she is so hostile with everyone. She also seems unable to speak her mind no matter what. We saw her father trying with her at some point when she was little and she didn't even talk to him, she save Quin You for being bullied but then treated her like she don't like her around, she seems to have feeling for Gao Xuan but she is unable to talk to him when she believes he is hiding something. I also don't particulary like how she treats her grandma.

I really, for real, knows how hard depression is. for real. But there have to be someone you have to be able to talk to and be yourself with or you will end up dying in your own grief. So i feel her character was just too much.

And then, after all this problems, in the very last episode, episode 30, we have amnesia plot for the ML!!! 🤦🤦🤦. It is also done super weird because they cramped a lot of the romance in the last episodes (Unnecesary because this wasn't romance) and he seems to not recognize her but then he did but then not in their time in the game... it was just a mess.

I will recommend it? clearly, not. It is just too long and it is really not worth it.

Little sugar heart vs little overlord

I'm here to say to everyone that, please, don't drop it till after episode 5. I feel a lot of people probably drop this because in the first episodes the FL act a little stalkerish ending up with a bizarre confession on episode 4 that doesn't make any sense.

But after that things get really great and is a fantastic rom com: The ML understand what he lost and try to woo the FL back and she doesn't accept him right away. She needs to feel he actually love her and like her even after rejecting her in the past. Both act like mature and succesful individuals and, when they start dating, they are such a natural couple. Normally those montage they do when they are already dating going on a date looks cringe but here i loved to watch them.
The second couple was cute too and unexpected. tbh it looks like the first 4 episodes are one drama and from 5 to 24 another, better one lol.

We also have beautiful scenes that makes me cry, specially the one where Tang Xin's father told her that, even being illiterate, he read her book many times, taking notes to ask her when he got lost. We could also see he really can't read when, at the end, Tang Yu give him a prenup to read and he pass him to her daughter. Her father is just adorable tbh.

So please, if you like rom-com, don't miss on this one. It is 100% worth it.

Girl power for the win!!!

If you are doubting about watching this show or not please do. I was doubtful at first too but end up loving it.

The story could be a simple one, in the end is the everyday life of three women in position of power (Director and team leader) and what they have to do to keep their companies and personal lifes afloat. What i think makes this show so great is the characters and how all of them are show to us.

-Bae Ta Mi: She is the FL, the one that is made dirty in one company and end up in the other. She is... intense lol. I like how she is so asertive and have that boss vibe at work but gets too emotional and a little crazy in her personal life. I read people complaining about her and Park Morgan being to cheesy and cringe but, i don't know, i actually like them a lot. it was different to see how they hook up the first day and how their relationship evolves. I think she is too focus on the future and needs to relax but, otherwise, they're fun together lol. Also really enjoy her relationship with the other lead, Cha Hyun.

-Cha Hyun: OMG she is crazy and i love her!!!! I really don't think i can't say anything bad about her, she is everything good in this world. Beating awful guys asses, watching the drama completely living it, falling in love with HER actor and crying like crazy when he has to go, drunk moments with Bae Ta Mi LMAO. she is really all that and is a pleasure to watch.

-Song Ga Kyung: Maybe of the three leads is the one that you notice last for her position but she ends up with a bang. oh how much i enjoy when she basically destroys her mother in law at the end. Just a great moment! also her relationship with her husband is cute in a way. He is clearly in love with her it is the situation that sucks.

The support characters are also great and it what makes the show so good and wholesome.

Of course i don't want to forget the music. Sooo on point and fitting for the show! i was with it in my head for a while after watching it (Still are lol).

Just watch it really is soo great :).

so much beauty in here

In just a few words i will say that this drama is simply beautiful. The plot itself was bound to be good but the performance from everyone is what elevated it.

I was a little scared at the end of the first episode because i didn't expected it and his uncle wasn't exactly seems the nicest guy. But everything change and we see our ML Geu Roo trying to comes to terms with lost and changes.

My favorites scenes will be when Cho Sang Gu gets to learn what actually happens with his brother, that he was never abandoned and he opens that closet with all the sneakers and breaks crying. It was such an emotional one and Lee Je Hoon was amazing in it (I will stop saying this about him, i made my point already, sorry lol)

And the other scene is when Geu Roo keeps asking Cho that please told him if he was going to die, because his father never tell him and he did and Sang Gu answer is "Your father never told you because he loved you very much, i don't love you that much" lol it was a fun one. also Geu Roo answer like he doesn't care if he don't love him just don't die is a cute one.

I don't know, this show was catartic for me, i laugh, cried and enjoyed it a lot.

Sometimes the law doesn't work

Ok this is the last show i watched and loved it so it is pretty fresh in my mind and maybe this review will get a little long sorry about that. I will try not to put too many spoilers but just in case i warn you there could be some.

Plot: This season is mostly about revenge. The rainbow taxi group have a set up when they try to help people that was mistreated and the law didn't help them. I really like the way they show the clients getting in contact with them: mostly when people try to end their lives because they can't take it anymore, their phone number appears to help them.

This season is dark in a lot of aspects but that makes it good too. The cases they work are real cases (A few days ago i found the one about the company CEO and it is exactly as show in the drama something i found amazing and very brave).

We also get to know more about the team and why they do this something neccesary to understand them.

Characters: We have 5 main characters that for me personally complemented each other real good and it is what gets you hook up on the show. They feel as family at times even when all the scars they carry.

In this season the leader is Jang Sung Chul, the one who got them together. He is a little cocky at the start and doesn't listen to Kim Do Gi when he have doubts about getting help for someone worse than the people they punish and this will be his downfall in a way.

Kim Do Gi is our ML, our real hero, our taxi driver. Of course i'm not that objective since Lee Je Hoon is just sooo good. Soo very good at performing all the parts he really do in here. He isn't only Kim Do Gi he is also all the characters he pretend to be to get the revenge. His tragedy is heartbreaking and i really like everything that happened around it and how he gets some kind of clousure in the end. There is something that he still carries with him to season 2 but i think that is good too, it keeps the character more realistic in a way.

Either way in this season i will say that our hacker, Ahn Go Eun is the one who gets the best arc and the best clousure to her tragedy. That they link a case with her is something brilliant from the writers. Watching how she cries desesperately in her room, unable to move, just finding some comfort in some bandaids that Do Gi give her early on. Amazing performance by Pyo Ye Jin and something that stays with you.

Hightlights: Again i'm not that objetive because i was hooked from the very start, when our taxi driver appears to take a killer who was release earlier for good behavior. The first episode set the tone right away and i guess you get on it or probably won't enjoy it. For me everything is good: The plot, the acting, the music, all fits perfectly. I will say episode 14 is an all time good one, what happens almost kill me, it got me on the end of my seat. Amazing.

Negatives: Ok, we need to suspend disbelief in some cases. Kim Do Gi is the typycal action hero (Hawai 5.0 anyone?) so it seems nothing can't hurt him. It gets a little weird when after a beating with a baseball bat he is just like a day in a hospital but wel this happen in this kind of shows.

Also in one of the final eps we see prosecutor Kang Ha Na and Kim Do Gi go see the social worker from Maria's case (The first one) and she is in a mental hospital, traumatized because her time in Baek cell. i felt that they wanted us to feel sad for her, to show us that revenge doesn't always work but it felt flat on me. In the end this one took advantage of disable people so really i can't feel sad for her.

In conclusion, I love it and i really will recomend it to anyone.

Special shout out to Wang Tao Chi and Madam Li because really hilarious ;).

Apocalipse but different

The tone of the show from the start is very opressive with all the characters basically lock up in the building. We see very fast how humans could be even worst than monsters when surviving is a factor.

All the actors are amazing specially the ML Cha Hyun So and Lee Do Hyun, this one performance is on point at every minute and i actually end up hating him a little even when i understand why he did the things he did (In parts).

The monsters for me, some are great, some not so much, but overall i like them and the different types.

If i have to say something negative, the kids at times were a little annoying to me. I'm not much for kids in this kind of shows so really i could have done withouth them.

That scene of the ML in the last episode just before the end... it was one of the hightlights for me.

All in all i can't wait for the next season :).

Loyalty and Love

10/10

Seems my intuition was right and this was one i had to see. When i ended it i felt empty something that always happens to me with my favorites. What a fantastic ride. 50 episodes past by and i didn't even notice it.

In my short time watching dramas (1 year,i'm pretty much a newbie) i don't think i saw better matched pairing than Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan.

Wei Wuxian, the complete hero, always selfless, always fighting for the ones who can't. His cheeky and seemly unpreocuped demeanor hook you from the start. He really is the perfect scapegoat because his good heart make him naive in a way.

Lan Zhan, stoic, silent and loyal. So loyal. When someone is that silence they notice things others don't. He never was fooled, he knew for the start something wasn't right. Also powerful to the max specially when it comes to protecting Wei Wuxian.

They really are an unbeatable combo. You could give me 50 more episodes with them and i absolutely watch it tbh. I love them and i'm going to miss them sooo much.

Even when halfway to the story i knew who the real villain was (I think is was pretty obvious) that doesn't take anything for it being super engaging. You just need to see how justice is served, finally.

The funny moments were just too funny (Specially mention to drunk Lan Zhan giving fat chickens to Wei Wuxian) and the tragic ones were too tragic (The sister dying, since i didn't expected it). It all balance soo well, nothing seems unnecesary in the story telling.

The support character where great too, i saw myself screaming to my tv everytime Guang Yao appeared being all nice lol. Also kudos to the actor, Zhu Zan Jin, because the last four episodes were a master in acting from his part.

Jiang Cheng ughh this guy. It got so much on my nerves too. Of course for different reasons than Guang Yao but still. He was just jelaous of the clearly superiority in everything of Wei Wuxian and, instead of trusting and supporting his brother, he decided to joing the mob and kill him. He is a little pathetic tbh.

Wen Ning or ghost general poor baby. really. I mean i enjoyed how loyal and strong he was but he really got the worst luck in all the drama. It was great when he told Jiang Cheng everything about the golden core "You really think you could beat him any other way?" YOU TELL HIM BB!!!

Lan Xi Chen, well. I mean, i feel he did his best, you could notice he was really always on Lan Zhan's side but he still was too lukewarm. Probably what make him fall for Guang Yao's lies. It was heartbreaking watching him the last episodes, he really was betrayed the most.

I will stop here because i could talk forever about this one (Shoutout to my girl @marina who is the one that had to endure my rants).

I will recommend it? No 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Jokes asides, yes. If you had any doubt of what to watch and never saw this one, go running to it please is super worth it.

I'm on your side

First BL i watch and i think the bar got to high. I love it. I was completely obssesed with them from the end of episode 1 and i almost spoiled myself on social media because i really wanted to know what was going to happened and that only happened to me with "Alchemy of souls" (I got spoiler so hard on this one lol my own fault)

Kinn and Porsche have beyond this world chemistry since the first minute when Porsche takes Kinn's watch and Kinn is done for. After Vegas tried to kiss him in that bathroom we got one of the hottest and best scenes ever when their relationship really started. As usual when the main leads got together the tension between them dissapeared and could make the drama drag a little. That doesn't happen here because, besides the main story full of plot twist, we got something in the last 3 episodes that got me in a chokehold: Vegas and Pete relationship.

I'm still processing everything about them. I'm not sure how to really feel. At the end they seems to be ok together and of course their sex scene is incredible hot but... is Pete really mentally ok for this? it could be stockholm's syndrome, Vegas tortured him during days and got him prisioner. Before being able to escape, he seems to regret everything that happened between them. He even wants to die.

If i could really try to make a point for a happy ending with them, maybe Pete was confused with his feelings and seems to regret everything because, why are you wanna be with someone who torture you? At the end, he decides that he loves him no matter what so he is not going to think about it anymore, it is what it is. Vegas also seems to understand everything he did wrong when he tell him that he can go if he wants to. So idk i think i will keep thinking about this for a while, it was that intense.

Tankhun could be crazy but i was cheering him up when he was the only one trusting Porsche when Tawan try to make him the mole and after when he knew something was happening to Pete. In both this times he seems the only sane one tbh.

Another great point? The main song is sooo beautiful and the moments we hear it were so well chosen. I already got it on my playlist.

So after all this why i don't give it a 10? Well, i try to be very picky with my 10. Everything have to be tight in terms of plot, acting, development and romance to give it a 10. In this case there was some things that makes me takes that half a point:

-The acting was great overall (Special mention to Bible Wichapas who was perfect on his portraying of Vegas, sooo good) but some was a little bad so i couldn't get in that part of the story.

-In the last episodes, Porsche calling Vegas for help and trusting him more than Kinn pissed me off. Specially because it happened after Kinn ask him for a fresh start without secrets. I found it out of
character tbh.

-I didn't got hook up in the first episode, the end of the first episode makes me keep watching because the chemistry but i wasn't so sure about the rest. It pick up after through, but all my 10s i
was done for in the first episode minute 1 lol.

overall, it was a fantastic and thrilling ride and i recommend this drama to everyone. I'm going to miss them a lot ♥♥♥

Slow but worth it

Let me just say that it was kind of hard to get on this one because the first few episode where a little slow for me. The motivations of the characters were also hard to understand, specially the FL.

But it got a point that you can't really stop watching. It fells like watching inside the mind of a madman, a trully psycopath and the woman who fell for him.

But let me just say that this show it worth the watch just for Kim Young Kwang perfect acting. To this day is the best performace i watch in a kdrama.
