Don't kill yourself because you're going to make the people who love you sad! Gotcha! ✍🧏‍♀️ (the implication being that it's otherwise okay to kill yourself if you have no one lmao). Well, I guess it's an okay series despite the dubious life lessons and Death's edginess 🤷‍♀️ Dubious because... probably everyone who suicides thinks about their loved ones but their pain is so insufferable that they do it anyway? And then you have to suffer again a bunch of times to learn to love life as if it was so simple

There was no reaction from Gu Won when he saw a family photo in the 11 episode. So it seems he doesn't remember…
Yeah... The only thing that kinda comforts me about all that 10-year contract thing is that in early episodes Gu Woon showed Do Hee how it works in general and how it is not simply "black and white" with a contract in the hospital with the mother for her baby's recovery. So she might be more understanding. But it is still her parents... sooooo... yeah...

The way he dealt with the killer was too over the top for me, kinda ridiculous if you think about it, but still…
Yea, after episode 5 it went downhill rapidly. That episode 6 was like those countless crime dramas about corruption and chaebols with over the top acting and resolutions. Very meh.
The last two episodes were drilling on the same message but it was all wrong. The only insightful part was about that suicidal salary man - it showed ML the dream he so desperately wanted to have, the one the government and society kept on brainwashing him with. But they never delved anywhere further with that. Instead of guilt shaming ML with his mother they should have explored what ML really wanted in life, how can he be true to himself. Is being a cog in an uncaring corporate machine what people really should strive for in life? Just such a waste of potential here.
But as it is, this drama resolves none of the problems SK's society has, it just tries to guilt shame through religion and societal dogmas.
As for the characters in this drama the ending invalidated everything ML did in other people’s bodies and all those who were supposed to die will die and all the bad guys will still be walking scott free.

Trigger warning: suicide

Don't get me completely wrong, I enjoyed this as a fiction piece. But I think the way they portray suicide is complete bullshit and it's undoing the good job that shows like "Daily Dose of Sunshine" did regarding mental health awareness.

Suicide isn't as simple as making a conscious and rational choice it's the very real end to a very real disease, which is depression. I felt like the show takes this lightly (beautiful image about self-worth and how you matter and are unique and life is supposed to be treasured aside), putting the main character on trial for ending his life. Humans have quite a strong survival instinct built into us; bypassing that isn't easy nor do you do bypass it when your mind is sound and healthy.

Yeah that part pissed me off. You don't blame sick people for being sick or for dying because they are sick. Portraying the character as selfish and uncaring is awful.

That said, the show in itself was entertaining so I tried to not think about the fact he was being punished because he was sick.

Ok, so Do Hee parents died because her father contract with Gu Won expired (I guess it was 10 years already).…
There was no reaction from Gu Won when he saw a family photo in the 11 episode. So it seems he doesn't remember them all (there are a lot of clocks in his office). Also, if he does remember (and now with human emotions) and he still didn't tell Do Hee about it, it makes him an enormous asshole.

But if u realize they talk about their problems even before they got Married ❤️
As for star Jin it’s not the end of her story yet
But it’s better she changes than have the same character

I too hope we get lots of fluff last episode 🥹

These past episodes with so much unnecessary angst will be made up for, at least in a way lol

Yeah i think that's why they have changed his character as someone who is neither interested nor good in politics,…
Tbh they didn't need to. In the webtoon too it was convenient to differentiate who is who. Trust me when i say this the original story is really really good. It had everything romance, politics, angst, manipulation, necromancy but the best part of the webtoon was the character development. And there's little to no scope for character development here since they have made the ml a nice, cute person. So yeah...

I'm sorry but the story of Bo Gyeom and Cho Young is super boring. I don't really care for it. It was obvious…
I totally agree.

I skipped most of the scenes of Bo-gyeom and Cho-young lol

The uncle could have just waited until she got home to show her the picture?

I also feel like they dragged out the whole thing unnecessarily, but we are now finally back to our Seo-hae couple 🥹

Why did she bring the officials on the mountain? Before everyone was atleast alive. But two of them died and she…
I think it's pretty clear she didn't bring them, they followed her. Anyway, understandably she made a lapse in judgement... but who would blame her when the life of the father of her child was threatened?
It's just very poor timing all around. The guard should have told her that he would release Seo Won and none of this would have happened. Unfortunately he didn't, she ended up making a mistake she regretted but it was too late, she could not longer backpedal...

My main issue is with the Mountain's God writing though... Now that we know the whole truth, he seems even more like an extremely stupid vengeful a**h***
Can't feel even a thread of empathy for him.

Ep 12 doesn't make sense, even for a supernatural/fantasy drama [my theory below]
How can a lesser/territorial mountain spirit who couldn't prevent his lover from marrying someone, couldn't protect her life, and didn't know who exactly killed her, is able to wipe off the memory of the entire school except VP/fox, Seo Won, and Min Ji Ah; also Yoo Na and Woo Taek. He even changed Hae Na's behavior/attitude, too. Her being cold and treating Seo Won like a stranger doesn't make sense. Cos if just erasing memory she and Seo Won would go back with them being just colleagues. Since Ep 1, before she liked Seo Won, she had been always nice and friendly to him, not cold and distant.

Also, before everything happened, she and Bo Gyeom were not close either as seen in this episode.

Bo Gyeom not being able to erase Min Ji Ah's memory strengthens my guess that she's not a human but a deity incarnated.
