I hope one day she plays a normal sweet/kind girl lol.
Almost all her roles, her character is weird lol
I don't think she can. I've given her chance after chance, and she always takes what should be a likable (though flawed) character and turns them into overacting, over (failed) cutesiness and screaming.
It's a slow burn, you need to be in the right mood for this one, but it's BRILLIANT. Jang Hyuk is masterful, as always. He embodies whatever character he becomes, his entire person transforms. Just be aware it's an intense politically -motivated melodrama with a side of smoldering romance. I'm loving it-- the endings of eps definitely have me clicking "next." I'm going to catch up to the currently airing eps in no time, unfortunately.
Since it's a c-drama will this be dreadfully dubbed? Not sure even Ji Chang Wook can hep me get past that... if it's not his voice and obviously dubbed.
I am so in love with this show! WATCH IT. RATE IT. LOVE IT. Light with moments that really tug at your heart, plenty to laugh at and so many heart-skip-a-beat moments between the second lead and the main girl. Ugh. So good.
Despite seeing dramas like Reply1994/97 making a large amount of the the main plot-line based back in the 90's,…
"the unmistakable longing at the thought of their son and just the missing elements of their future lives together (Jin Joo's mother) that they've been given the opportunity to actually treasure while being stuck in the past... the way the main characters portray this emotion is actually heart wrenching amongst all the comedic value the drama has to offer so far. "
Really well put. I've cried more than a few times in the first four eps alone. There's also a good dose of comedy. I'd be interested in both storylines as well-- to see them without each other in the future or to see this as an opportunity to fall in love again (most likely).
