Actually, Allen is great at kissing scenes if you watched Glory of Tang Dynasty (2016). I think in this particular drama, most of the kissing scenes involved transferring of his merman pearl to Yunhe thus to have lip movements would be awkward and inappropriate. I hope he will have passionate kissing scenes in his next drama!
