This is sooo me. I was so obsessed with the first half there and for a moment after jundai died I thought 'finally' I could relax a little and maybe now watch the ML also fight schemes coming at him but no. The Fl has the entire world after her since she stepped into the world of nobles and it's tiring keeping up with the constant schemes. I dropped it around ep 22 but will keep my rating because the first half was so good.

I know. I have missed this so much. Like I haven't loved a kdrama this much since alchemy of souls 💃. Been watching a lot of cdramas but nothing has yet come close to a good kdrama for me.

I agree, the first half was so interesting because it was original but the second half feels like a different drama and it's just nolonger as interesting. The way she schemes is too simple yet has such a big dramatic effect😶‍🌫️. It would have made sense her plotting against the empress if she was the emperor's adoptive daughter just like the book. At least there we could claim she has his protection and a lot of information and knows exactly how to deal with members of the Royal family. however now the plot is barely interesting anymore and am nolonger eagerly anticipating the next episode the way I was before🤦🏾‍♀️

Personally I plan to skip the rest of the story till the last few episodes so it can keep being the story I loved from the start. 😆

lol😂😭, am wondering the same thing. It was one thing for her to scheme so she could keep her identity but now her scheming even against the royal family themselves was just not necessary. 💀💀

I have taken months to finish 24 episode dramas, yet somehow am 41 episodes into this one in 3 days. I wonder what the writers put in this one because I wish there were 20 more episodes to go🥹. Am not ready to close the chapter.

I had just started this drama, then after episode 3, I decided to come read the comments on here. Let's say for the sake of my own sanity I will wait until the drama is complete before deciding if I am ready to be traumatised or not.💀

There is. Set up a checkpoint and make sure no one is carrying weapons. Monitor the weapon sellers in the town and make sure to keep an eye on those buying weapons suspiciously. If even I can think of these then the writer could have definitely come up with something better.😂

This has got to be the one very flawed drama that I am thoroughly enjoying. Like it is so interesting the flaws have yet to deter me. 💃

Am on episode 19 and struggling to finish this. So, this started off strong. I loved their banter at the beginning, but when they got together, the FL sort of kept at it. I am also a bit dissatisfied with how I can name at least 100 little different nice things the ML has done for the FL or given to her, however I can hardly name 5 that she has done for him?? Also, maybe it's my personal take, but she needed to work on herself before getting into a relationship. Then and only then would she not hurt her partner by being so protective of her own heart when he's literally laid everything bare to her. I do not like that she's certain of his feelings towards her because he has made that clear, while he on the other hand, is always unsure where he stands with her.

I am in a similar predicament and I am just bracing myself for episode 7. This show has me feeling all kinds of emotions. I have to say this really was so beautifully written.

Am getting different vibes from him. I fear in his eyes he sees a person who's life he's probably already ruined, because ZL is carrying a darker past than from the time he first met the emperor. And now the emperor must once again ask him to face what will undoubtedly be a more dangerous threat this time, because no blade walks away unstained cutting out the decayed bits. So maybe even he knows he has asked too much this man than he ought to, but to save the empire and for the well being if the people, he must stand by his decisionto use ZL as his blade. More so his decision seems to haunt him just as bad because his expression changes when he holds his arms.

This pairing is 🔥 I cannot wait💃
