Title My Liberation Notes Spoiler
Finished this in just a week.

It's a feel-good/bittersweet drama. I like the different characters temperaments of each siblings, their parents, and of course the mysterious Mr. Gu- and Mi Jung's matched with Gu- they're ying and yang- at times at least..

There is no definite ending- nothing set in stone, which at the end of the day is what's in touch with reality- happiness doesn't last forever, and sadness doesn't last forever.

---------------- spoilers-------

But I do have to point out about some stories that didn't make too much sense? I wish they would have developed a clearer storyline with some of the plot's they threw our way.. for instance a little more of Mr Gu's past and why/how he ended where he was? who was the sister? what did the baby represent ? who was Mi Jung trying to wake up in that flashback when he was next to her in that bus stop?

I wish Ki Jung (older sister) would have told her boyfriend - "hey- your sister is making things uncomfortable between us" It seemed to me she got upset after that car ride where he asked if she was pregnant and he sighed in relief- I thought she was going to be upset about him clearly not wanting another child.. but it was something else?

I bawled my eyes when the mom passed away- but that's life. and why was the meaning of them wanting to know when Mi Jung was crying - "she was crying for her lost dogs" -

The friend? what was happening there? one second she was being yelled by what seemed to be her boyfriend- the next he had cancer?

I do agree with Dopens opinion that Mi Jung and Gu's relationship was not made to last- but to help heal one another- although it's easy to romanticize I believe Mi Jung knew him and her weren't made for that-

I kinda cringed when they Mr Gu & Mi Jung kissed- I would have been happier with a a forehead kiss/ or a simple hug-

why would you cast an actress who doesn't want to kiss in her dramas especially when this is a romance drama…
ah, shucks- where did you read that information? I was beginning to think that maybe Thai culture was more conservative than Koreans..

I do know that so far the few kisses they've shared the camera pulls away or shows the back of their heads or they're just pressing lips. somewhat cringe-worthy. /:

i've seen 3/20 episodes? from that youtube link (works great, btw) It's cute so far, and yes the Thai dialect takes some time to get used to... just like Korean/Japanese or Mandarin dialect.. how to fix that problem... watch more Thai dramas, your ears will get used to it soon enough.

the only comment I can make so far is... whoever is singing that intro song... should stick to their day job. geez.
