i totally forgot to reply to this so im super late 😭 i understand that he is traumatized n filled w insecurities he does plenty of questionable things throughout the drama that can be explained by that n we see him grow as a person later on but my problem w that specific incident was that it contradicted Li Xun as a character to that point n onward n i cant rly push it off as an instant angry mistake bc his behavior wasnt momentary, it was like he calculated making a stupid decision n that just so unlike him! i just look past that episode tho but yeah i think @Big_Red_1011 is right n it was unfortunely a plot hole
