That's right Cai Zhao fight for your man!! and I'm not even talking about romantically fighting either. Those hypocrites don't deserve any of the leads time. Out of bias and fear, they choose to believe in what they want and in the most irrational way too. I find it funny that Uncle Zhou comes up with the idea to execute Mu Qingyan just because he's a Mu and needs to burden everyone else's mistake. Just accept the fact that you lost Cai Pingshu and move on bro. It's been 20 plus years. Actually, all of these uncles need to move on from CP. I havent watched today's episodes yet but I agree! Even Yuzhi and MQY both knew early on she had a thing for ML. I think her progress made sense and took time bc she lived in a much more loving safe environment. You can tell once she went down the mountain and experienced the real world her perspective changed causing a stir in her own thoughts that she grew up in. It's super clear the show really wants us, the viewers, and the characters to learn not to stick with arranged marriages and choose who you want. But that whole fiasco with the random old couple right in front of Zhou Yuqi and the Min girl was so cringey to watch. And then she got mad at him making it even cringier. lol

My thoughts on Cai Zhao's master (this is before watching Ep. 19): He's super good to Zhao Zhao but also constantly reminding her about the demon sect being bad. Knowing that she's fated to be the demoness like her ancestors, I think he wants to use her as revenge to get back at the demon sect for his unrequited love crap. He's training her and making sure she'll always see the demon sect as bad so she can wipe them out.
