I disagree with Zhaoyang’s marriage too. It’s plainly insincere. If she’s doing it to get back at Gao Yi or to get over him, there’s different routes to go sis. The fact that she proposed for marriage in a drunken state but then proceeded to clarify that she’d still insist on the idea even if it wasn’t Yang Jian left a sour taste in my mouth. She’s taking advantage of his kindness like her mom. I thought she didn’t like that? He is a good safe choice but that’s not fair to Yang Jian. On the other hand, I appreciate that he cares for her and wants to protect her but she’s not a kid anymore. Besides, marriage is a huge commitment. She’s very nonchalant about it like it’s just an everyday task. This is a bummer. I liked the dynamic they have and was waiting to see their development. I know she’ll come around but I just don’t like how irrational she’s being.

I just hate how much of an influence Gao Yi has/had on these 2 ladies.

As for Xu Si’s business ordeal, we saw it coming but I love how sharp Auntie Yue is. I sense a typical drama trope of misunderstanding because they couldn’t find time to talk about it. He wants to inform her but JH’s at her peak shine. Like Mr. Mei said, Teng Yue’s success was unexpected. Does this mean XS didn’t believe in her? I don’t think so. In business world, you never know what’s going to happen. And now that the results are here, he’s faced with the truth. He’s going to lose one or the other regardless. But times have changed and he’s changed. Had it been like in the beginning where it seemed skeptical to believe him, I’d be raising hands. However, this show is about realizing one’s own value of life. I believe this quarter of the show will give more light on Xu Si’s new found values & how he’ll turn things around.

They did it again! This show is truly a roller coaster ride. From a sweet blissful ep.29, Ep. 30 had me non stop rambling. I had to pause so many times to sort out my thoughts.

Some highlights:
That white dress on Elaine! 😍

Jiang Hu walking onto the Free Unicorn stage was satisfying! If only we could see Zhang Wenshan’s look of defeat. There’s such an overwhelming amount of joy to see how far Jiang Hu has come to revive and thrive for Teng Yue.

Xu Si calling her "Little butterfly" just like her dad used to. 🥹 Even if it's just for a little bit, I love hearing them speak English. It's so cute.

My take on Ep.30:

They did not need to make us cry this early into the episode. 😂🥲

Was it just me or was that Qin Lan in Tengyue's promo video for the event?! I recognized Wang Ziyi but couldn't tell who the rest were.

Oh wow! She does it too? I just learned that Yang Jian does some sort of video diary to express his thoughts.

They were so cute. Like young teens in love for the 1st time.

Yeah. I'm sure he'll end up doing something w/ good intentions but it's not what suits Jiang Hu. They haven't been able to see his changes so it probably is a chance to see his improvements.

It was stressing me out seeing him stress. 😂😂It felt so out of the blue.

Bring it on! I'm ready for him and Zhang Wenshan to get a piece.

That's our favorite outfit of his though. 😂😂 Maybe he'll stick to proudly showing off the couple pj's instead.

I learn new things about censorship everyday. Thanks for this. It just sucks because we've seen it in the promo MVs and everything already.

I adore Xu Si for being attentive. He patiently listened to her talk about Gao Yi even though he was feeling insecure about it and reassured/comforted her. He's smooth with his words but I cringe at how cheesy he can be sometimes lol.
XS: A few minutes is long enough for us to do something. 😳 (*feeling a sense of awkwardness over come me)
I have no idea why they put the thrilling bgm on when JH's phone died while she was far out. I was wondering if she was going to get robbed or something. Xu Si was rushing to find her like he knew something was up but then nothing. They hyped me up for no reason. haha. The guy cleaning the bathroom had me cracking up giving Xu Si the thumbs up. A shipper just like us, eh? 😂😂

Jiang Hu shut down collaboration with Mr. Fang. For the company and care of her employees, she’s putting personal matters aside and going with Lidu. Just when I thought it'd be ok to choose Lidu even if it's not the best choice, here's Gao Yi pulling more tricks. Smh. We barely see him but he's up there with Zhang Wenshan on the big dislike list. I hope Teng Yue will succeed at the event and blow those 2 away. 😒

The clothes makes the man. Yang Jian looked real handsome in that suit. I love how happy he was to be wearing it around waiting for Zhaoyang to see. I hope that ZY will soon realize to seize the opportunity with YJ. I love that they have small little traditions like the shortcake to hold onto. It doesn't always have to be the grandest things to make someone happy.

🌵 update: The cactuses she owns relate to Gao Yi & their childhood memories. The carefree days when things weren't so complicated. but now we prefer the orchid cactus, ok Jiang Hu? lol

I can't wait for the big event at Lidu to happen for tomorrow's episode. It irked me to see everyone happily celebrating birthdays to instantly be shut down with Gao Yi's idea. 🫤 Show them what's up Tengyue!

When Xu SI still has to compete with Xiao Fei. He was able to fit into her schedule more than Xu Si. 😂😂
