I was enjoying the drama more than the novelπ―π―π―Unpopular opinion I'm sure.
I read the novel and loved it. But I can agree with you too. There are certain things in the drama I dont like newly added. However, the way they're taking the route of the story is quite interesting. And if the time loop theory is correct, I might have to give the drama an extra liking. I also enjoy the drama versions comedy. It's just as funny. π
Interesting! If 5th life is that demon one, I wonder what they'll be doing in that lifetime for so long.
Wait really? Oh I think I might have forgotten that lifetime and mixed it up. It definitely would have been fun with them in longer episodes as the demons.
It seems a recurring theme with snow. Have you seen One and Only with Bai Lu and Allen Ren? I can re watch Forever…
I always enjoy a snow scene because it's so beautiful but these last few dramas have changed my mind. I'm scarred lol. I did watch OaO! Oh my goodness. I was not prepared for that and still have a hard time going back to it. My heart was so torn.
I'm really in love with all the detailing. That martial art practice sequence was beautifully shot and done with such grace from our leads. Very pleasing to the eyes.
Today we get closer shots of Chu Kong's grand blue outfit which is detailed with what looks like constellations on his sleeves. Plus he lives in Star Platform in the Heaven realm. Although he's Ancient God of War, I like the recurring theme and tribute to the constellation concept.
I'm lowkey missing Han Ye and Diziyuan. I saw the clip of this guy singing the OST on Ring a Bell and can't help but think about them despite the story's mess.
One other thing, I think the best couple award should clearly go to Ren and Mou!! This life tribulation would…
Yes! I love how in sync they are with every reaction. I laughed out loud when they high fived seeing XX choose Shifu. And to think these 2 will technically be in-laws. π€£π€£
From all the clues weβve been given so far I think 30k years ago the Prince fell in love with FL but she died…
That's most likely it. All a big misunderstanding caused by the big bad wolf who we have yet to really notice. But if this follows the time loop theory then this tribulation test is a big deal.
I'm so happy we're all starting to see the significance of snow in the story. Ever since I finished the novel, I could never see snow the same. I was that traumatized with Chu Kong. lol. Whether in real life or in other dramas, seeing snow or a snow scene would instantly remind me of him. When I watched TTEOTM earlier this year with the tower scene all I could think about was, "Oh no!! Not him too." The impact of Chu Kong is too real. π I get nervous watching snow scenes even if it's a happy one haha.
