It might just be because this is a dark character that has a deep character arc I haven't seen in many cdramas. Haha yess! He's so demonic without fully being a demon yet but if he was straight born like lucifer, that'd be a different story.
I can't keep up, only finished 4 episodes now...I now start to understand what kind of creature TTJ is...the way…
Well said! That was my exact thoughts. It's really a frustration thing because its an unexplainable thing for people back then with this type of behavior. Plus, those child actors were so darn cute portraying the roles. It made it so much harder to watch. It's those subtle gestures and moments that must carefully be observed which LYX brings out so well to make us believe this TTJ is more than what we see.
I am not sure why but I feel no sympathy for BingChang at all. Something about her rubs me the wrong way...
Trust me. She will not be likeable if it goes down the similar route of the novel. I can't get it out of my head to like her at all even seeing her in the drama.

Thanks for always sharing the data! LYX deserves it. I think the softness of his tone is what makes the character solid. It gives off a more scary creepy vibe. Plus, he fits the description of TTJ to a tee from the novel. I can't picture anyone else. So more love to him!!
Don't know if someone already asked or not but did they cut a kiss scene from ep.7 when they were playing in the snow? I swear I saw a BTS for it but may have misunderstood. I will have to say though I appreciate the show still allowing us to feel conflicted about their relationship just as it was in the novel. You wanted to ship but it was so hard bc both of them were π
Just finished binge watching all 6 episodes and wow! There's no way can I go back to watching this on mobile. CGI and overall aesthetics of the show was appealing on the TV. Plus, How is this show still able to add some hilarious comedy bits when all I prepared for was angst?! ππ Xianxia dramas making me traumatized and not wanting to enjoy the good moments to much as I know it'll all be in vain. I can see some changes from the novel but my only main question is, is there no curved jade or is the harp supposed to be the replacement of that?
The intensity of Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi's character in the beginning had me blown away. This type of character development is what I live for in dramas! Tantai Jin's hunger for power once he gets a taste is demonically calculating. That scene with the ravens was well instrumented it screamed demon personality! They're setting us up right and the angst will definitely be coming but this has got to be such a good pace so far. Even Ye Bingshang's true personality was starting to be revealed. Girls got some demon in her. ππ . What a strong start for the show and I hope it continues to stay this way. Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi's chemistry is not disappointing.
Haven't felt this pumped in a while for a drama. I have no idea why I'm feeling nervous. ππ Guess I just need to prepare and sacrifice some sleep for this.
I probably wont be able to keep up with the comments but happy watching everyone!! Just 1 more day. I've got all my tissue boxes, snacks and computer prepared. ππ Also told my family, I'll be busy for a few hours but it might even be more. ππ

Yes that! I don't mind if all girls like him but her running off to confess. It was weird that she assumed he would openly accept her proposal. Which is why I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt that their is more to why she believes it would've worked. The dialogue she said when trying on clothes threw me off bc it didn't coincide with what she said when she was drunk. She makes it sound like he doesn't know her but when drunk she says she told gim everyday to wait for her?

Yeah. I guess what I'm saying is why would she all of a sudden do that? Which is why I'm hoping they will reveal more because her dialogue when trying on clothes made it seem like he didn't know her. She's going after a guy who is clueless of her...? Idk if I misinterpreted or something.
