Seungwoo’s decision was also emotional cuz Jae-in has always treated him like a brother and stuck by him despite the mother’s claims

I was just thinking about making a comment that no matter the feeling’s towards Jae-in, people should be mindful cuz there are people in real life who might be in a similar situation —maybe not as exaggerated but still. I would hate for someone to be in an abusive relationship and see these comments thinking they’re to blame for their situation and that it’s some karmic punishment.

the doctor girl seems to have a victim mentality and a lot of people with that mindset and low self-esteem will stay in miserable situations so they have a valid reason for self-loathing

I assume Seri has been planning to take over Jae-in’s life for a while but I really wonder how Gichan became part of the plan. I honestly wouldn’t mind two week’s worth of flashbacks to answer our questions. Like what happened between young Seri and Jae-in’s mom, how did Jae-in fall for Gichan, why did Kugyeong marry Gichan’s brother, [MY ASSUMPTION] how did Doyun’s uncle and Jae-in’s aunt get together and what happened between them, etc etc.

Yes, I really hope the kids including Dohee’s daughter don’t become collateral damage :(( Gichan’s sister seems blind to her family’s deeds and is just focusing on being pretty and getting a rich husband lol. Good for her I guess😂 Unfortunately, it’s gonna get worse before it gets better and Kugyeong is gonna reach rock bottom in terms of jealousy and hate before she rises above and tries to make amends. I just hope Doyun isn’t too easily manipulated.

Based off the convo the girlies had during their reunion (I may be remembering it wrong) but it almost sounded like Jae-in got married and Seri came to wedding then Seri went back to the states and they got news of her getting married. Which I guess makes a little more sense timeline wise?? Like they got married had Eunho then he went to the states and married Seri and had their son. But I would really like for him to have married Seri first so all this scheming can blow up in his face LOL

I’m not gonna reply to the first point cuz I have already and it’s getting redundant lolz but anyways.. I think it’s odd to blame getting fooled on the victim. I’ve seen a few of your comments and I think you’re placing way too much blame on the victim, which Jae-in is a victim, rather than the liars and schemers. You’re entitled to your own opinion so you can dislike her to your heart’s content but she has done quite literally nothing to deserve this. She loved her husband, raised her child and was kind to those around her. The husband and Seri choosing to abuse her trust is NOT her fault. The doctor girl having an inferiority complex and secret jealousy towards her is again NOT her fault. If anything she should have good karma because she’s been a good person, friend, daughter, wife, and mother.

Oh and question : what did you want her to do while she was tied to the bed? The only person she knew in that room was her husband. Was she calling out his name in disbelief because she couldn’t wrap her head around what was going on? Was she calling out to him for help? Maybe both but point is there wasn’t much else for her to do except hope this was a sick trick.

You keep saying that she caused death and suffering to her son and those around her but she has not. Nothing that’s happened has been her fault.
❌ Dohee was killed by the husband because she had information about the scheme the husband was cooking up.
❌ Dohee was almost killed by the mother because the mom assumed she was the mistress. You could argue that it is related to Jae-in because the mom claims to have done it for her. But let’s be real, the mom did it because she never got to get back at the woman her husband (allegedly) cheated with.
❌ The son was kidnapped because the brother-in-law was greedy and strapped for cash. It’s not Jae-in’s fault that she’s wealthy.
❌ Jae-in’s dad died, and again not because of her or anything she did but because the dad found out about the dual contract.

And you could say “well had she been more suspicious and street smart, none of this would’ve happened” but yes it would’ve. Her having her wits about her would’ve only made the antagonists work harder and probably faster and it would’ve been different people involved. Maybe instead of Dohee, it would’ve been Seungwoo or another coworker who found out about the contract. Her being less naive, less trusting, etc couldn’t have stopped anything.

I agree that Jae-in should’ve investigated her husband after her mom’s comments and I’d like to believe that she would’ve had the timing been different. Personally, if I witnessed my mother set up my younger brother for murder -my younger brother whom she had doted on- I would have a hard time believing anything she says. To Jae-in, it may seem like the mom is acting out of her insecurity from the dad bringing in another woman’s son + up to that point she had no real reason to be suspicious of her husband.

Now for the point about her willingly ignoring signs, can we really say that? She was being drugged morning and night and wasn’t of sound mind. Everyone around her had one story and her account of things was the only different one. It’s easier said when you’re outside of the situation but if you’re in a room of 100 -hell even 10 people and everyone is recounting that the frame in the hallway was a painting of dogs but you think it might’ve been of cats, would you not question what you saw? Now add the fact that you’re drowsy and constantly lightheaded from being drugged. Would you be able to say with 100% certainty that what you saw, though different, is the truth? It may be your truth but is it the real truth?

And I want to make it clear that I’m not trying to absolve Jae-in of anything or say she’s perfect because her being so trusting has made it exponentially easier for the antagonists to achieve their goals. But I do think she deserves some grace with the cards being so stacked against her. I think she’s silly but I’ve resorted to being her lawyer cuz the hate for her in this comment section is wild lol😅

I’ll be honest I’m too lazy to go look for the specific comments I saw but I’ll just say that there are more than one calling her evil and saying/implying that she is the cause of everything that’s happened.

I agree. He thinks causing problems between her and the husband will make her sad which will in turn hurt Jae-in's mom but little does he know her husband was a few steps ahead and hates her more than he does lol. He's still blinded by anger and grief but I'm sure it won't be too long before he thinks back on all their accidental rendez-vous and sees how he misunderstood her.
