Second that. Most comments here are healthy discussions compared to the other forums I've experienced. Hope to…
Right! Everyone's been sharing their opinions and keeping it respectful even when disagreeing. If only every forum and comment section could be like this lol
I agree with Seri and Okbun but regarding Dongseok I feel like it’s because he feels that she could be interested…
I'm not surprised about that because they've been downplaying her grief and the relationship the whole show. The minute he died, her mom was telling her "well it's only been 10 days, move on." and even the brothers were encouraging her to keep going with her life. No one cares to focus on the fact that her husband just died because to them they were basically married for 5mins whereas the social status difference has existed their whole lives, you get what I mean? And they can argue that she doesn't need to spend anymore time grieving or depriving herself of a new relationship since she's still connected to him through the brewery and his brothers.
Can I just say this is one of my favourite comment sections. I love that we're able to enjoy this show, have thoughtful discussions, and root for characters while also properly critiquing them and their behaviours. Y'all are lovely people <3

yup yup! I thought so too and was actually quite surprised. It would’ve been nice to get even a year skip but I guess most of these problems with the brewery make the most sense during its early rise. The brewery having that boatload of debt and all these issues are a good way for the chairman to aid them while getting closer to Gwangsook. at least that’s what I assume the writers thought.
I didn’t even think about that lol but good point.

that too! He’s not giving her even a fraction of the time it took him to grieve considering how recently her spouse passed. I know we’re already past the halfway point so things are gonna move ahead at full steam but I would’ve liked him to genuinely give her the space that she asked for

oh absolutely! I saw someone once say that the difference between something being seen as charming vs threatening is how attractive the person is. The chairman is obviously good looking and charming so his pushiness is “accepted” whereas with the 3rd date guy he was seen as aggressive —which he was lol but the point is how differently their actions are perceived.

I do agree with this! He’s disregarding the power dynamic which is funny since he’s the one who kinda drew the line between them. When they first started their business relationship, he kept reminding her that she was his supplier and that she was crossing boundaries. The tables have turned now. and like you said, it’s only okay because they’re leads in a drama and they’re charming.

I agree with that. I think he’s so excited about this new feeling and eager to move on to the next stage that he’s pushing just a teeny bit too hard. It comes off as playful because he’s so charming —and because of how Gwangsook responds to it but yeah he needs to genuinely give her space and time
This drama started out charming, but it's become apparent that the writer has stalker fantasies. Three of the…
I agree with Seri and Okbun but regarding Dongseok I feel like it’s because he feels that she could be interested in him that he’s so “pushy.” Seri and Okbun have both been told by their crushes that they’re not into them but Gwangsook hasn’t really done that. she said she needs time to accept his feelings and work out her own but she’s never said she’s not into him and I think that’s why he’s so bold. I may be biased because I like Dongseok but I do think if Gwangsook had made it clear she wasn’t interested in him, he would’ve backed off.
I think so too. so far she’s giving main character
me neither lol😅😂 she irks me but she’s smart and for that reason alone I’m inclined to side with her. I want to root for Jae-in but her naivety makes my eye twitch lol
