I 100% agree with you! You've quite literally put my thoughts into words. Kugyeong wants someone to sit beside her in her victim cell so I'm not surprised that she didn't warn Jae-in and is now actively contributing to her suffering.

She's condoning it because she wants to see Jae-in suffer. She's been getting abused by her drunkard husband and wants Jae-in who she views as the poster child of a perfect life to experience some pain. She's not a good person but then again who in this drama is lol

Agreed. I think it might be a coping mechanism cuz she has nothing else to rely on? Her parents haven't equipped her with the skills required to deal with confrontation cuz they've sheltered her so much. Ignoring the problem and hoping it goes away seems to be the only way she knows to deal with things.
I wish I could repost that last part. Some of the comments act as if her naivety is what made them mean-spirited when these people were obviously not kind-hearted before meeting her. Her ignorance just makes it easier to go about their plans since there's no resistance from her.

She is dumb but I have to put the blame on her parents especially her mom. They've sheltered her so much and now all this is happening and she's not equipped with the skills to deal with it. Not much critical thinking or discernment so all she can do is rely on her husband who unfortunately does not have her best interest at heart. If at least, she had gone back to work in episode one, she would've had something to lean on but alas :(

This! It's clear she's never been faced with a situation like this cuz her mom took care of any issue that arose before it could even reach her. All she knows is the love and safety her parents provided then her mom basically has a psychotic break and everything she knew of her parents is shattered. Of course, she'd hold on to the only thing she knows is true (to her) which is her husband's love for her. I'm very frustrated with her but these comments have no empathy and see the situation as black and white when abuse especially domestic is never a black and white situation.
Kugyeong is worse than the others to me because she sees/knows EVERYTHING that's going on and has info from all sides but she doesn't divulge any of it.

while I agree that Jae-in’s naivety enabled those around her, it feels like y’all are blaming her for every wrong. she could’ve been the most suspicious, highly alerted person and it still wouldn’t stop bad people from being bad. take her mom as an example.. she’s aware, she’s cunning and that still didn’t stop her from getting caught in a trap. I don’t know lol I just don’t like the way you guys villainize her when naive or not, her husband could’ve still cheated, murdered, etc.

I think it’s the sister’s kid with the doctor guy’s uncle. I think in episode 14 or 15, the doctor’s mom briefly mentioned that the uncle has a history with YL group and I’m wondering if that’s it.

I know everyone was waiting for Okbun’s “glow up” but I would’ve rather he fell for her naturally instead of making her a Ms. Kim 2.0 but then again I’m just being dramatic and looking for something to complain about lol

when I first started this I was advocating heavily for a time skip but with this pacing and writing it doesn’t seem necessary anymore. I love it just the way it is !

We have to take into account that the mom told her this right after framing the son she has raised for years FOR MURDER!? I don’t know about you but I’d have a hard time believing anything that came out of her mouth after that😅😂
