This series is making me think a lot about an ongoing conversation between the chronically online: community. Gwangsook is such a village member in that she's always trying to support those around her and wants everyone to thrive and succeed. Her mom represents most people where they'll gladly be part of the village when it benefits them but once they feel even slightly inconvenienced, they no longer desire that community aspect. While I agree there should be a limit to how much you let yourself be inconvenienced for the sake of community, I don't really see Gwangsook as a doormat the way most people do. Her offering to pay the tuition for the finance brother's daughter was out of consideration and it's not really something she'd be going out of her way for especially since the brewery is his family's after all. All that to say, I don't think anyone's walked over her so I don't understand why she's being painted as someone with no boundaries lol
I don’t think it’s dragging considering she’s freshly widowed
LMAO😭
I don’t think it’s been anything more than 3 months. And I think the writers are gonna start focusing on the new romance so that’s why they don’t show her grieving as much but there are still some moments like the time she got drunk, her always mentioning that she’s keeping the brewery alive because it was his dream etc.
I'm not sure how to feel about this tbh- because the anime is done so well.. I do feel like a live action would…
Understandable. Live adaptations sometimes take away some of the most important parts of the source material so you're feeling is valid. I too think it'd be nice to have some new actors !
I liked the anime despite myself. The lead couple was ok but I lived for Rin & Nagi. I also really liked Shin.…
I agree with the k-casting lol I mainly watch "older" actors so I could only cast those I was familiar with. I think the younger actors I enjoy might be too young (cast of Racket Boys, Park So Yi, etc).
Thanks for the rec. I've been looking for a new anime so I'll be starting it right away.
Neo Hou is a side character ?? nope :D Hello you are talking about Neo Hou !! He is one of the most handsome,…
This article is just for fun lol. He could be the greatest actor to ever act and it wouldn't mean anything for him to play a non main role. I think we as viewers get so caught up in positions when every role, no matter how big or small, is important.
Damn, You really put a lot of effort in this. I watched this anime last year so a few details are fuggy but yeah…
To be fair, the childhood friend in this one didn’t seem very considerate towards her and seemed to want to limit her because of her deafness. I think too that too many childhood friends aren’t brave enough to approach their love interest and it isn’t until someone else comes into the picture that they get the courage to confess their loves and by then it’s too late.
Aww, thanks! 😊 💕💕💕✨️I actually want to use your comment to address the negative reactions—yes,…
It would’ve been constructive criticism if they at least told us who they’d cast instead but just commenting “this casting is awful” or “I disapprove” with no elaboration is silly when we have a disclaimer about this article being our opinions😭😂

That one’s on my watchlist and I’m excited to watch it !
