A masterpiece made for me

So. I'll start by saying that I began watching this movie not knowing what to expect. Based on the comments, I thought: either people are right, and this is yet another piece of trash, or it’s a masterpiece made for me (or just trash made for me).

After watching the movie, I can say it gave me unusual feelings. And honestly — I don't understand what many people are talking about. I think this is simply one of those cases where the movie isn’t for everyone.

I really liked the movie's concept. Behind this legend lies a deep meaning that, perhaps, not everyone will understand — but for me, it resonated.

The atmosphere was impressive. The soundtrack, the actors' performances, the mysticism, the silence, the darkness, the landscapes — all of it did its job perfectly. I was especially hooked by the creepy visuals and the suspense.

The characters were decently developed, but I would’ve liked to learn more about the detective because, at some point, I completely forgot he existed.

The ending felt way too fast. I had just prepared myself for the climax — and it ended right away. I wanted more tension and an emotional punch at the end.

But despite the flaws I mentioned, I still believe this movie deserves more attention.
