i did not know this quote would be the foundation for this series but i should've known since it is so accurate. i freaking miss them. feeling motherly.

oh, these were the originals!! every time i saw a reference to a different series, i realised that this one came first so it's actually the original. them running away from their family because they just wanted to be together is everything to me. i needed that.

they deserve sunshine so bad. i understand pran's mum because honestly if it were me, i would've had the ugliest revenge planned. however, once both families saw that they truly cared about each other, they still held a grudge. I CANT BELIEVE THIS! and honestly, without a REALLY REALLY SERIOUS REASON like assault or abuse or discrimination, you should not dictate your child's life to such an extent.

you cannot tell me they are the FOUNDATION for enemies to lovers. honestly, can we call them that when they were forced to hate each other?? even though this plot line is not original in itself, bad buddy just has a certain level to it that isn't achieved with anything else i've seen. honestly, it was so refreshing to finish this because i became in love with the execution of this!! even down to the faculty rivalry, not original but had a such a different gravitational pull (im still such on weirdo-101) towards it. this was sooo good!!
you might then think why isn't it 5 or even 4 1/2 stars. it just took me AGES to finish this and even when i was set on it, i kept turning my attention elsewhere. however, when i was properly invested in this, i was in love!! especially after ep 8, i started just binging it the whole day. and as i said, the story was pretty generic to me which is probably why i didnt stick to it as i do other series.
they are still everything to me and part of my new favourite colour combo ❤️💛
