Ive enjoyed watching it coz my other dramas arent fully subbed yet. Ive expected the over the moon self sacrificing love plot but what i didnt expect is the lack of main leads chemistry. I enjoyed yuri and shin ju more. Even blackie and lee rang’s reunion was more heartfelt. Too many plot holes and loose ends. I thought u cant be reincarnated if u die in samdo river. Well bok gil reincarnated as taeri, lee yeon as himself and lee rang as a boy. I enjoyed the osts though
Ive waited for it to aired in full so i can binge watch. The best friend xu li was her host body in the legends. Its nice to see them together again although i dont like the character of her bff. As a woman im kinda ashame how she’s acting like a creepy stalker towards riley, being the cliche over the top fangirl /girl in love. Also, i just finished riley wang‘s first romance so Im hung still hung over with yanke & xiao xiong. The diff between xu li’s love & xiao xiong are world’s apart. the character of xuli as a gurlin love was poorly written. ITs such a waste that i always fastforward their scenes. Next to zhao lusi, bai lu is like every ML’s dream lead girl because she fits just any male lead. Loving the the chemistry. The osts are awesome too
Forced quarantine made me watch.. didnt regret. Thats why i love good writers & cooperative actresses. Yes, actresses. Actors have pretty much less restrictions than women. So for a believable romance of adults , good script & cooperative actress who acts like a real adult in the real world & is not afraid to shed their cutesy patootsy image & is willing to be cuddled, hugged & kissed like that just what lovers usually does in real life is needed. I like how light the drama was. No killing no evil plots. Love the fambam. I cried when her mom died. I love the 2nd couple. Both gorgeous couple too. Most esp, i loved the ost esp goodbye of wendy
Oh, she was the weird weapon developer from Taoism Grandmaster. Her male look is too good I guess, didn't recognize…
She has done surgery on her face. She was the fake princess not sure if its in taoism grandmaster or cinderalla chef (lol! Too much dramas) the one married to the prince who got crippled. She has round dimpled face. One can claim she slimmed down but where’s her dimples? She even had her dimples removed. What a waste of a beautiful face
I couldnt stress more that some dramas are at best at 20ish episodes. One good thing abt this drama. It was ok but couldve been better should they gave less episodes on the trust issues & misunderstanding & focused more on feelings & character development. Xu Kai never failed to be the natural charmer that he is and that emotion when he cries can renally soften your heart. I always blame the storywriter/director + actress for sloppy & half baked kisses & romance. I get that this is a historical drama but its possible (love & redemption/ maiden holmes/general and i ..wink wink) with cooperative female lead & good scriptwriter/director. i never thought id see lighter brown for eyes in cdramas other than xukai but then theres the prince from sha. Both the prince & the princess of sha are drop dead gorgeous. Tbh for me, i find all the casts pretty & handsome except the female lead. While beauty can be subjective i still think either her natural face or her total packaging lacks the elegance & sophistication of a “saintess” ive seen from other dramas. The ending was satisfying. After fulfilling their duties they went back to the realm where they can live happily. One best thing abt this drama is the osts. Everything was on point & give u the feels of the scene. Even the humming song which reminds me of frozen (lols) is beautiful. best osts ive heard so far. I also enjoyed that this drama was light. No extreme bad people. Just evil spirit possessed classmate, coward but ambitious prince & misunderstandings
Not sure if its a big studio or a city they maintain for dramas like this, seems the same places in other dramas. The lake city, the bridge, the school.. and lord zi is almost in every xanxia either emperor, clan head or diety lols

Is she that young to do proper drama kiss? I hope they send her to do acting workshop lest she ruin her other dramas. Just watched her twice in a row with lead roles that i felt really wasted. Not even her very pretty face can compensate for her poor performance. Or was it just the script or how she was directed? Anyway, The guy on the other hand was great even in BL romance. Enjoyable drama but lacking
I am at the 12th ep and trying hard not to drop the drama. I need to maximize my drama options to keep me busy while in forced 14 day quarantine for catching cold this pandemic.. although they claim FL was supposedly young, it doesnt justify her flatout series of stupidity and lies. I wish for a day that script and story writers will stop romantisizing female immaturity, stupidity, impulsiveness , dumbness. You can be young and commit mistakes but not at the expense of family, love, life. They should not imply that as long as you have good intentions its ok even if everything and everyone around u suffers and mess up. Not in the ancient times, definitely not in the modern times. govt banning these stereotype and stupid cliche’s are way better than banning time travel & halyu stars. Lols
This is one of those dramas that shouldve ended at 16 ish to 20ish episodes. It started as promising but towards middle became boring because 1) the female lead’s habitual lying and bei. Willing victim 2) the female lead’s relatives. For the 1st time in a while i didnt felt sorry for the 2nd lead guy. We have our own definition of handsome but he just aint that for me. Yuwen and Fang Shiyu was the prettiest for me. LiZhe got really hang up for what the lawyer papa did yet immediately got friends again just bcos daddy apologised ,got de barred in exchange for his forgiveness towards Zhiyou. Surprsingly daddy lawyer was dealt by the law yet ironically, LiZhe was not incriminated for the paper company, plotting , releasing of confi info to the bidders. the same with Yuwen. So is that real friendship between them? Plot wouldve been better if LiZhe forgave Zhiyou when he got whacked in the head . Not because papa lawyer bargained for it over his confession. The only rational yet very loveable character here for me is the lead guy and his mei mei.
Im not sure if its just my eyes, or is it his make up, but he does look like lee min ho... for a newbie, he seems pretty lucky with those main roles he fished so early... he looks promising. Waiting for more works from him after maiden holmes
Definitely one of the best dramas ive seen this year. The chemistry was superb! The kisses were great. Guy was definitely an A+ with that extra tongue in their makeup sesh and the girl for initiating. Its hard to move on from this rare treasure. Today is a monday, ive just finished this drama that ive started last saturday.... no doubt its a good storyline that kinda messed up in ep 25 onwards. The storyline got me confused. The FL no doubt is a beauty that reminds me so much of kotoko in itazura kiss love in tokyo. I still enjoyed watching it because of the character development of the casts but i just cant feel the chemistry there. They were pledging their love but i just cant feel it. I can feel it more from YuMingYue and the other Feng guy, the jolly friend who loves to eat. I dunno if its just me bcos i watched this while waiting for eng sub completion of love & redemption. And the kiss, just another of those “duck” kiss. I call ‘em that coz they look like ducks who accidentally bumped into each other. This is a good watch if ur bored. I enjoyed it though just dont expect too much
