as someone who just rewatched this drama... i disagree that it is boring... perhaps it depends on person to person... it might be less thriller than Aouad but it made more sense scientifically... it was a decent watch for me... i would want everyone to decide for themselves if they should watch or not rather than being influenced by comments
idk about others but this one deserves it... i didnt find a single uninteresting moment in the first 10 eps
for u it might be different.. people give high ratings coz they like the drama... those dramas are high rated coz a lot of people gave them those ratings... dramas are made for audience n if they like it then they deserve praise/high ratings/ hype etc
i can't believe the character i liked the most was a parasite(heidi)... heidi, su in, kang woo were a good trio... parasite n humans were too similar... the emotional one (heidi)... the betrayer(pastor)... the justice keeper(kang woo's sis)
if only i lived in korea i would make sure to turn on my n entire neighborhood's tv at exactly 8:50pm on Monday -tuesday so as to increase this amazing drama's ratings...
Is twinkling watermelon not popular in korea? I've never seen that show get nominated at all after the show ended…
international n korean ratings differ a lot ig... twinkling watermelon was famous internationally but not so much in korea... right now too lovely runner is popular internationally but only has 4.5% ratings in korea... they are tv dramas so if koreans dont watch them they dont get high ratings... only dramas who do well in korea as well as internationally are considered successful
everything about this drama is amazing... the cast, the story, the suspense, all the characters....I just love it... every character has some importance n role to play... halmoni doesn't seem to be just acting like a kid she has more to her role...
And the writer has some creative scenes as well. We have all sorts of weird situations but they all are so fitting…
exactly...I even like those scenes where sol embarasses herself with weird actions but sun jae laughs it off as he loves her... they are funny n cute at the same time ...
this drama has a fair share of comedy, romance, friendship n sadness... its so wholesome ... just 1 ep can make u experience all emotions (happiness, sadness, romance, suspense, comedy, second hand embarrassment n so much more)
the relief i got when they showed sun jae pushed that girl away who tried to kiss him was immense... n the way he imagined tae sung n im sol's convo was so funny...
every ep is equally interesting ... i didnt skip even a second... even in my fav kdramas i had skipped some annoying parts... this drama is gonna be my fav of my favs...i dont think i watched all eps of a kdrama at normal speed except this one (i watch all others at 1.5x)
i like that the writer change the reason for SJ deaths. Su*c*de and depression are much more complicated, kdramas…
from ep 1-8 ig both times he died was murder... first time he was depressed coz he wasnt able to save his first love from losing her legs but he just wanted to quit being an idol that time no thoughts of suicide ig... he was fine n happy the second time...

can u spoil some of their story after ban rou gets married to yuwen yu... what does yuwen hu does to his wife or to get ban rou? also how does ban rou dies n what ending did yuwen hu get?
