Started this on Monday evening, finished last night. Fastest I’ve binged any show ever. I’m about to rewatch it with some friends, I enjoyed it that much. While the female lead got on my nerves a lot, and everyone had their downfalls (i get it you gotta have drama) I really appreciated the overall story and the in game play. I’m not a gamer but the in game sequences were so beautiful and the way they matched the storyline never detracting usually adding made me love it so much. My favorite episode was episode 6 for my little trash talker’s first appearance. I loved him so much, he just got better as the show went on. Only complaint was I didn’t get enough of him, I hope he makes it to the sequel. Also, I loved all the other captains they were all badass in their own ways. Even though there are intense rivalries the respect for the games and each other was nice.
