You mean the drama "Start Up"? I watched the first episode and lucky me didn't continue.
For episode 5 it really kept me thrilled throughout though I thought dedicating one episode is still abit too long... it is interesting to see the emotions of the characters but then there isn't much development of the plot. Episode 6 gave us some hints here and there but as you said, nothing much on the plot. I have a feeling there isn't much content to fill it at 1hr20mins x 16 episodes. Like "Lovers of the red sky, whole episodes just featured a painting competition-I fell asleep.
Just hope it doesn't end like Youth Of May... loved it in the beginning but became bad when the chaos started.
It was consistent in the beginning and we were aware it is going to be a tragic end... however the ending episodes it became so deliberate that the characters seemed to be looking for tragedy... it became overly dramatic & too unreal unlike the earlier part.
It improves from ep 2, and gets right up my alley from ep 3. The first one was a bit frustrating for me too :D
Thanks! I read some other comments that mentioned the same... maybe I try ep 2 tomorrow since I just rewatched "Do you like Brahms?" instead... it is probably more my type of show lol.
Just caught the first episode cos nothing else to watch until tomorrow... don't think I will continue, a bit frustrating to watch - maybe not my type of show.
The professor was undecided all along, they should have just kidnapped him straight rather than trying to convince…
No worries, I Googled it after and got the meaning.😉
On Soo Ho's "father" I must have missed the part. so now I understand; the NK women doesn't trust Soo Ho as he real father was branded a reactionary. I was thinking how come the "father" is branded a reactionary and can still lead a bureau.
Thanks, how silly if me... If the "father" is not the real father then it makes sense for him to go against the ruling party and the North.
What benefit does Soo Ho get? Double agent for what side? Wouldn't make sense it double agent for SK or NK, since…
Oh that is another good theory! We may have been overthinking it! Think the controversy and the clarification made us that way.
He found out that they left him and his comrades to die (maybe also killed off or captured his family in the North) so he decided to take revenge instead. Probably Kang Mo also saw that who he worked for is not worth it and they work together to go against the big evil organization.

daughter of Eun Chang Soo..."
Soo Ho whispers back:"I know, that's why I got close to you."

Now I can unsee the blocks after blocking her...
