The professor was undecided all along, they should have just kidnapped him straight rather than trying to convince…
Agree on the professor, since he was being threatened with his son; why would he suddenly change his mind even if he panicked? But they needed to convince him since he had to speak that the opposition is working with the North... but again if they just abducted him and give an image that he is working with the North, it should have an effect too.

Hostage situation not plan, but a result of the foiled operations which is due to the leak. He probably didn't know about it and so he is not working for whoever foiled the operations.

As for the NK woman, thanks for the explanation. I didn't really get that part, being a reactionary means he is working based on his own interest right?

What benefit does Soo Ho get? Double agent for what side? Wouldn't make sense it double agent for SK or NK, since…
I only read the brief of the history via Wikipedia so I can't comment on the CIA involvement it this; but good that you caught this being mentioned as it could be a possibility. Maybe he has similar political inclination and CIA promised him some protection if he works for them.

One thing for sure he cannot be what it seems based on the controversy of atrocities committed by the NSA on "North Korean spies"... so far it seems to still justify that but he has to be working for someone else, like the CIA or the opposition party.

The hostage situation is not planned, but happened because of the foiled operation due to leaked information.

Title Snowdrop Spoiler
I read quite a bit of the related history from Wikipedia, no appropriate to comment as I probably barely scratched the surface but enough to know the magnitude of it and why people reacted the way they did. I am really ignorant to be surprised that these events happened not too long ago, as I first read on "Youth of May" then this.

Back to the Drama. My guess on why the operations foiled i.e. Prof Han didn't make it to the North is due to the still sus characters in Cheong Ya and Ms. Pi. I believe Soo Ho is a double agent working to prevent this - though I am not sure of his real relationship to the white-hair deputy director from the North. The other lady deputy chief did give orders to Soo Ho's partner to kill him if he acts funny so she suspects him already. It is planned that Soo Ho didn't make it with Prof Han on the fishing boat; as well as the ship to fetch Prof Han didn't come. If it did, the Aemin Party would have gotten what they wanted.

Not sure of the exact background of Ms. Pi but there must be a reason why the activities are concentrated at the dorm, why the plan leaked causing the hostage situation. Ms. Pi being super cool and almost "supportive" of happened; and the secret room and her past being life-threatened at the dam.

Cheong Ya is more straightforward getting close to Tae Il for get intel.

Caught the first 4 episodes last evening... It is more towards slapstick comedy so do not expect any logic watching it. It is good that it is rather short if not I guess the "fun" will get overly repetitive. The leads are really cute in this one so I will probably watch a few more episodes until I get bored.

Remember watching this on the big screen when it first released, definitely left an impression.

There's a leak information that Soo Ho will join force with Kang Mu. I wish it's true.
I am thinking he may be a spy helping the South instead... since there was a scene earlier the deputy chief of NSA suspecting him. Miss Pi should be involved as well, with the secret room and all the activities happening around the dorm. Of cos Cheong Ya as we can see from the trailers.

Ooo.. episode 5 is out? Luckily I came in here.. Can watch after work today. Looking forward!

I feel quite sad for Young Ro, not knowing what is going on while giving her all. Soo Ho can't do anything as well, being in a situation he cannot get out from.

Just completed this, finally! There are so many "duh" scenes especially the last episodes that I think it was worse than watching Power Rangers...

HE nevertheless...

7.9 is normal?
I read a few articles on the controversy... I don't really care about that but I can understand - I almost wanted to drop it as the whole drama started with introducing the political plot and I thought I started a different drama by mistake. Even as the director/producer clarified that it is be ironed out in later episodes - it seems too late for some. Maybe introducing the leads first and their background may seem more mainstream?

I am not really a fan of SJY, I just liked her in IOTOBO - yeah we see so many controversies going around especially when ppl have nothing to do at home.

Just looking forward to the new episodes rather than anything else.

Merry X'mas!

On The Memory about You Dec 24, 2021
I started this by accident a few days back so far at episode 9 - It seems not bad; reminded me of "Unrequited Love", hope the ML is not "involved" in the FL's father here as well. The ML can be a bit too childish and insensitive. However he is straightforward about his feelings. FL has a good character but it is really irritating that Cdramas nowadays that the FLs cannot differential a stalker from one that is not. And she keeps accepting his help. With 42 episodes, I am a bit skeptical about where this is going especially when the leads get together so early. Even episode 9 it seems the angst is imminent.

True enough I came in here and saw the ratings. I will go read the comments now and potentially save 33x40mins of my time.

where is Yoo In Na in this drama? was she shown and I missed her?
I think as of now she seems insignificant but there are signs that she may play a big role later.

Thanks for the heads up. 9 to 7.3 is really exaggerated. Who are the haters? Supporters of other dramas?
