I dropped many Cdramas these days... nothing really good. The last I completed that I can recall is The Prisoner of Beauty.

Is it normal that the fighting scene in ep 7 was weak as part of the plot and the hunters future developments…
Not sure what is normal but it is certainly bad and silly. Sent a rescue team to save one person and seem evenly matched. Then decided to leave 5 behind to get captured. I watched episode 8 and fell asleep, the dialogue is so boring. Many scenes, not sure what it brings to the plot.

Agree with you. Especially for episode 1, it is so deliberate that it felt really messy, the plot is quite straightforward and it didn't really give a good introduction. Yes, good that it picked up from episode 2.
