Not sure what is normal but it is certainly bad and silly. Sent a rescue team to save one person and seem evenly matched. Then decided to leave 5 behind to get captured. I watched episode 8 and fell asleep, the dialogue is so boring. Many scenes, not sure what it brings to the plot.

Agree with you. Especially for episode 1, it is so deliberate that it felt really messy, the plot is quite straightforward and it didn't really give a good introduction. Yes, good that it picked up from episode 2.

Probably if they meet, the swap may happen.

I watched the ainme, romance between the ML and Bai He Hua but minimal since their main role is to protect and heal da jia zhang

Watched first 1.5 episodes. Following quite closely to the anime I completed some time back which is good. If it continues to follow closely I think there may not be too much romance, since I don't see it in tags. Su Chang He acting is a bit awkward...
