Same, I thought there will be more scenes of them interacting, like what Chun Gi told Ha Ram at the pavilion that she liked him telling her about his feelings. But after that we see nothing.
Episode 8 is slightly better than episode 7, I like that the ML is upfront with the FL about his situation... like to see more of that. Besides that I almost fell asleep for many parts of the show - many of which doesn't bring any development or interest.

You are not alone. Guess there isn't much content so many of the scenes looked stretched. I thought they would have put in a little bit more to ML revenge... They just kill off a character and show a few flashbacks.
Whereas something that just happened to the FL they show a flashback just minutes later...

The first half was good after the first few episode because of the main couple... still okay when they got together... I skipped all the scenes involving Ning Meng and He Zhi Juan so it made it better... then now I got stucked at mid-episode 32 and cannot continue. So for me probably the drama ended there and anything beyond that is redundant.

Another possibility though a bit farfetched is that he is not dead yet, since he had his brains blown off. Since according to the informant no one knows where they were except themselves (unless one of them unknowingly gave his position away to the mole in the HQ). Or he and his supposed girlfriend Soo Yeon got threatened somehow to do this.
Agree that it is not all over the place yet, just hope they don't come up with some ridiculous plots like the baddie cannot be killed or can be revived....
I like to rewatch Kdrama's and this one is on my rewatch list, so I can binge it.
I think there are many dramas out there the content is just so scarce that you don't miss much even if multitasking when watching.
For this, especially the recent episodes is just those that there are so many things going on that you get reminded of stuff or make new discoveries when you rewatch.
