Ning Meng is like an idiot, but I cannot bring myself to pity her for being so stupid.

Have been following this faithfully and up to date though not really enjoying the recent episodes. Sudden introduction of too many toxic characters, dudes who try to intoxicate/drug girls ... hotel takeover schemes getting repetitive... and more airtime of ML's sister and brother in law. They are just so fake that I cannot stand when they are talking, almost like they are practicing for a school play... so irritating and I have to make the effort to skip their scenes... yet they have to introduce another shameless evil twin of the ML's sister... their dialogue/schemes are so repetitive that it feels like a soap opera. Second couple is getting boring as well, for so many episodes they are still in the same situation so okay even if skip their scenes.

Only watching because of the main couple but I get it now how it can stretch to 40 episodes.

All for drama...

Lol, the painting I guess is based on the "feeling " so could be highly dependant on the servant describing it to him. The first time when they were kids the horse wasn't there right? I think he managed to retrace based on his own memory.

Yes, about an hour ++ ago.

I like episode 6 suddenly being so fast paced, as compared to the previous 3 episodes. Hope it continues being so... looking forward to next week.

Tried but couldn't even get pass the blind date scene.

LOL, they are so deliberate in their actions and behavior - as if afraid that viewers won't know they are bad.

This is the type of drama the bad guys have "villain" written all over their faces. :D

Hope tonight's episode is good and worth staying up for.

Yeah, she was a bit irritating and hard to please then.

Was he in engineering? so probably some project he was involved in caused someone's death - likely someone under his care.

The town party, I meant the one she offended everyone and her rants were broadcasted by accident...

Yeah, he is one self-centered dude... thinking everyone should think like him.

LOL, this town the connection signal is more powerful and faster than a 5G network. Initially I didn't quite like her being insensitive at the town party but now she is part of them, her expressions and reactions are so cute.

Agree... just like you say, he is like marking his territory and everyone is thinking they are an item (not just from the overnight incident)... and he just denies it, probably to protect her but he acts as if he wants nothing to do with her.

There are many other unlikeable characters - CJ's daughter and HJ's ex-husband - just wanna skip their scenes. I like the old lady though, she is so adorable.
