Yes he didn't ask for the kiss but I do think he should be a bit more careful with her after it happened, no matter whether she remembers it or not. If he still continues to send those signals after it happened (dancing in the rain, touching her face, head etc.), he deserved to be punished.

The social standing thingy IMO is like you said not malicious but just an excuse for herself if it didn't work out (among the many confused behaviour), despite her "embarrassing" herself in front of him. And yet Doo Shik later said he almost wanted to hate her (not sure if the translation is correct) for acting the way she did before the concert. He is one self-centered dude.
Checking in here after watching the latest episodes over the weekend. Read a lot of negative views on how Hye Jin is acting... Being a dude, I actually dislike how Doo Shik is reacting. The lady is obviously confused and acting out based on what she feels with him touching her face etc. The dude is like sending signals causing her to act like this and yet want to maintain as friends. So she is correct to warn him not to give her wrong signals if he is not interested. Not sure what is his difficulties but so far he is fishing her but not reeling her in. Good that now there is a love rival.
The best couple I have seen this year, so funny and look so good together. They are like so comfortable with each other even making fun of other other felt so natural. From episodes 8 onwards (now I finished ep 11) I am grinning whenever both of them are onscreen, never a dull moment when they are together, just too cute.

Happens only in dramas, cos if someone is committing suicide leave it to the police and you carry on to marry the woman you committed yourself to. Skipping the ML's sister scenes because she is just irritating, she talks and whines like she is half her age... aware she has mental issues but she is just too fake. FL's ex-fiancé less irritating but skipping him along with the ML's sister doesn't disrupt the story.
Second CP main problem for me is the age difference but as of now they just look like friends with a common interest so it is still okay.
Episodes 8 & 9 are hilarious! I burst out laughing so many times. FL and ML are just so cute and funny! And with FL's mom :) The second CP is sweet too. This drama is really getting better with each episode. Just need to skip the parts with the ML's sister.
