You expressed my thoughts exactly! I really agree with the unecessaryness of the fraud side-plot. By that point in the show I was just really confused and bored, while still hoping for the fun and joy from the first 2 episodes to come back. I liked the show, but I think the ending and ultimately most of the stuff that happened after the time skip could've definetely have been better.
Anyways, your reviwe is great and sums everything up perfectly!
OMGG GLAD YOU AGREE! I'm such a sucker for that manga I was overjoyed to see we're fed more content aaa 😭🤝
RIGHTTT me too! I felt that the movie was just not enought to give these amazing characters justice so I am beyond grateful for this show <3

MY EXACT THOUGHTS OMG. I was just so sosososo HAPPY watching the first epsiode cus like u said it’s such a great adaptation of the manga, from the chatacters to the cinematography to the styling, it’s PERFECT. I cannot wait for more episodes to come :>>
It's honestly weird cus they hit all of the same story beats as the original japanese live-action, but it does feel like the pace is upped quite a bit. I think it might have something to do with the editing cus it's so fast and all over the place giving the characters no room to breathe EVER, so I defo agree
This episode was better than the last one but there are still things that pose a problem to me. First, the editing…
could not have put it better myself, I also wholeheartedly agree with the stuff abt the musical numbers. I thought the guitar playing was a little cute until it actually turned into a music video with pre-recorded vocals and it just felt so OFF, I think that part would be so much better if he just sang regularly
If GMMTV wanted to do "MSP" again, they should've just done a sequel to that series. The references, the musical…
agree with this so so much! it is honestly jarring how much the show tries to resemble msp but falls flat because of the lackluster and overly exaggerated acting due to bad production
It's comforting to know SunJae is a loser in every timeline
I was honestky a little scared for the most recent timeline, cus he kinda seemed like a douche at first, but when he fell for sol he changed for the better hehe
how does sol still know taesung even after she time travelled back to never meet sunjae, when she originally met…
omg that's right! I was just super curious if Sol actually decided to try to protect Sunjae from the kids that were smoking, and met Taesung in the same manner. Also, because when she went back this time I think she went back earlier than the previous time, cus she came before Sunjae had even met her, and I think that was before she ever took a liking to Taesung, but idk, I'm making it more confusing for myself eheh
I think the filler is really fun tbh! the show is probably just not the show for the ones hating
exactly! cus of the time travel elements people seem to expect like serious action and lots of energy all the time, but it’s just a cute and mostly calm show
okay so a little question about the current timeline
how does sol still know taesung even after she time travelled back to never meet sunjae, when she originally met him while fighting off people for sunjae?? also why does it seem like taesung knows that sunjae died, when that happened in a seperate timeline when he shouldn't really have any idea who he is?
Anyways, your reviwe is great and sums everything up perfectly!
